Well I just got finished playing my first game and of course I choose the Jets to play with. I took on the Texans like our week 1 will be and some things I noticed about the game. Our o-line is unbelievable they were pushing the d-line back to the lineback spot and many times our rb didnt get hit untill 5 yards up field. The combination of jones / washingtion / greene is just so amazing. The texans were just getting run down by the change of pace backs and greene was really a beast. Leon is really hard to tackle in the open field. The dude can move and it prettyy much takes him trapped in a corner to put him on his face. Sanchez feels awesome and with kellers help they make for a great play action threat. Some thoughts about our defense. I put Gholston in the game and he picked up two sacks so not too shabby he really was getting to the quarterback. Jenkins is an animal and it takes a wall to stop him. They didnt test revis at all, Andre seemed to run short crossing routs. Bad thing though, we seem very open to attack by the opposing TE.
asides from the jets, how was the actually gameplay? the demo version was pretty bad imo compared to 09
Well that's a first... Gameplay on Madden 09 was fucking horrific. Madden 10 is going to be king of all Maddens. Can't wait for tomorrow!
Well the team ratings on the whole seem pretty low right now. Let's hope we perform well in the first month of the season and at least get our defensive players a boost. Our O-line as well should hopefully get bumped up a bit, although from the sounds of it, it's not too hard to run the ball so that's good. Whoa......what? To each his own I guess, but if you prefer your sports video games to be as real as possible, you should probably think again.
^ aren't the ratings lower for all teams because madden took a page from the NHL series? so every team looks like everyone took a hit.
The problem isnt our players (we have the 2nd most 90+ players in the game) its our depth. Places like D line and O-line we are really frail at and thats where it kills us. But the game is great, the presentation is a big improvement from last year, the only big thing is the audio is terrible. Another step up to creating a perfect game.
Where did you hear that it is easy to run the ball? Maybe against pro and all-pro, but it is tough treading against all-madden. In the most recent demo I played, I broke a 30+ yard run early in the 1st quarter and ended up with maybe 45 yards. The dlineman get in the backfield way too quick in my opinion.
I just started playing my franchise, and the first thing I notice is the gamespeed is definitely faster than the demo.
They need to add an option for online so when people quit and you're winning you can just count it and get the win. If I wanted to play the computer I would.
I hate that, just finished my first online game, lost. First impression is meh, I'm gonna play it some more before I rate it.
