this was an awesome play last night.

    it faked me out too.

What if he tried to block the punt and ended up running into the punter? It would have been a tackle.

why blow that play in the preseason? That could've been a valuable play in a game that mattered

that fake punt was unreal. Easily the coolest play ever in a preseason game

Wasn't even the starter, Hentrich (sp?) sat out last night.

Speaking of the game from last night... am I the only one that thinks Alge Crumpler looks like an offensive tackle now?

is this not a clear taking adv. of running into the kicker penalty? it's dumb. the guy got 10 yards cause the 2 bills players are just waiting there, just to avoid breathing on him.

to give up 40 yards on that is ridiculous, and laughable as it is a div. opponent, but the fact that this play is legal is annoying.

Crumpler looks really fat now. He was never the leanest guy in the world but since being cut by Falcons he's probally put on at least 40 pounds

You can hit the kicker if he's holding the ball. I'm sure if they tried that play again the punter would be buried.

Because Craig Hentrich is 38 years old, and probably wouldn't make it past five yards before eating grass.

Hentrich has slipped off, though. He should have stayed retired instead of deciding to come back for one last year. Now the Titans are in a tough position deciding what to do at punter. You've got a kid who can punt and serve as a KOS, and he's willing to get his hands dirty on special teams a la John Hall.

I wondered the same thing, then I saw the postgame interview with Jeff Fisher. Essentially, he said it was designed earlier this week as a way to have fun with the game and give the Ohio crowd a show with their local boy, Trapasso.

Because now opponents will be looking for that play? Opens up possibilities for different fakes, or maybe they draw a valuable penalty because someone hits the punter?
