Anyone else sick of this...I mean it's bad enough the Patriots are good and never lose in this stadium, but can we change things up a little bit? Can we look at a different opposing uniform for our home opener for once? It's kind of boring already. It's like the NFL is trying to get the Jets off on the wrong foot every year.

    i'm bored by it too.

but instead of thinking that its on purpose so the Jets don't do well, let's water the field with their blood.

I don't mind it in the least...just so long as we kick their teeth down their throats.

Hopefully Vernon Gholston is this years Bernard Pollard. Classless, but true.

I don't mind it either. I look at it this way...our first home-opener, our first tailgate of the year after 9 long months, and our first chance (if we come off a win in Houston) to take it to the Patriots from the get-go. I found this game (the home-openers for the last 2 years) to be the most drunk-filled and loudest crowd of the season. So I see it as an advantage.

I'd feel better about it if we had at least made one of the games close, but we haven't really. The one year we were kind of in the game and driving in the 3rd quarter when Chad got hurt, ended up losing 38-14 to the eventual 16-0 Pats. Last year I thought was our best chance with Favre and them not having Brady and we didn't even really take that one down to the wire. It is getting old.

    "Lets just beat them."

I like this idea. We don't really need any more excuses for losing, do we? How about we just win?

I'm sick of it, too. This is the biggest game of the season. I'd rather enjoy the biggest game of the season and the first game of the season differently.

    Oh well. Let's just win.

Yeah, if we win it would be a great way to get the home season started. For some reason that option hasn't occured to me.

They wouldn't keep doing this if Jets fans would just pee on the Pats players as they were coming out of the tunnel. Don't blame the NFL on this one, guys.

Its getting really annoying because we always lose, but i have a good feeling this year could be different. Hopefully brady is on the turf a lot more then he was in 07. (0)

At least we won't be on the wrong end of another teacher/student coaching clinic this time.

I'm sick of the Pats opening day string also. It's not a matter of winning or losing. It's just a matter of changing things up a little. I would feel the same way if the Jets won the games. I would rather play the key divisional home game later in the year. Opening day has a feel all its own. It doesn't matter who the opponent is. Somehow, I think Kraft is behind this. He has that much pull with the NFL now. I think he prefers to play the Jets up here early.

I think the Jets should embrace it at this point. It is expected that they won't even belong on the field with the Pats. Thus, a lose is no big deal while a win is a HUGE boost to the Jets. And I think that Jets defense could be good enough to surprise the Pats and win the game by flat-out stomping on them.

Even though we always lose, i actually love looking forward to this game. Getting pumped up to beat the PATS and start off the season at home on an amazing note is something to get excited about
