There's no way the list isn't coming out... If the White House can't keep their stuff from being leaked, No way mlb can
well because hank aaron said it, it must be done!!! seriously tho, its under court law, they're not going to release it will just keep leaking out one or two at a time. The real question is why are these athletes surprised, they were notified in 2003 when they failed.
In the immortal words of Boston fans everywhere after last week's revelations, "Get over it and Move on." I'm all with Hammerin' Hank. The sooner they release the entire list the sooner we can put this dark era of the game behind us and move forward. It's time to move on for the good of the game.
It sucks for the players on this list, honestly. Steroids were illegal in-name-only in 2003, and that's Major League Baseball's fault.
On top of that they were told it was anonymous testing to survey steroid use in the MLB, so like Bronson Arroyo said, there were probably guys taking all kinds of supplements that would mess with testosterone levels that would trigger positives, so now maybe someone that did a cycle or two when it didn't matter, or took some mysterious shake is put on the same level as the BALCO players. Right now the biggest hypocrites out there are the writers. You know, the guys that made their careers reporting and writing books on the home run race in '98, Bonds 73 homers in '01, etc. And now ESPN and the New York Times can keep having "breaking news" every once in awhile and get an audience via some asshole somewhere dripping the names out one by one, all while telling us how full of shit the players are for their lack of moral fiber.
How come Sox fans weren't this understanding when Yankee names were coming out? It may not have been against MLB rules but it still was illegal and the steroid whispers started coming out in '98 when McGwire had the Andro in his locker. The players knew were they were doing was shady so I don't fell bad that they are being exposed before it was against MLB rules.
