    He basically was making some compliments about Ellis and then as a side note said they held him out a little bit, and didn't really give any reasons.

    Oh. Thanks, man. I thought he meant, Ellis was injured and they pulled him off the field.

    Hopefully that's not the case. But I don't think he would be all hush-hush about a minor injury in TC. That's not the way Rex comes off to me.

    If you remember, Ellis didn't do much in mini camp. I think he had surgery in the off season. He was just saying they held him out a little bit because he hasn't been on the field in awhile.

    One other thing of note, he had a lot of praise for Lowery saying he is competing for the starting job (even though he clarified Lito is the starter now) and that he will start in some packages and that he is playing too well not to be a big part of the defense this year. Me likey.

    I'm more interested in how Gholston is looking as opposed to the QB controversy.
    I mean does anybody actually think Sanchez is not winning this competition?
