I am going to try and keep this as real as possible. Positives: -Running game is back and it is effective. (Unlike 2009 in my opinion) -Gameplay is the best I have ever seen. Smooth like butter. -Game is slowed down and is at a much more realistic speed. -Presentation is ridiculous. The commentators aren't in the demo, but the superbowl is presented well. They even have jets fly over the stadium! -Graphics are phenomenal of course. Negatives: (Keep in mind it is still early so it may just take some getting used to) -I thought that defense was difficult. Not that my defense didn't stop the opponent, but that it was difficult to control a player and make an impact. (perhaps this is more realistic than being involved in every play.) Practice makes perfect! -Passrush is weak for you, but strong for the opponent. I could barely generate qb pressure let alone sacks. I played several games I was probably sacked 4-5 times while I only got 1-2 sacks. Overall very, very nice game. I can't wait to play online! Who has Xbox live? first time since ps2 madden that i played a full game against the cpu and didn't end up shutting the 360 off in disgust. ill talk more about it later since i need to go to work, but madden is finally going in the right direction again.

My thoughts? The game has changed drastically. - Going to take a lot of getting use to. - My biggest gripe is the play selection screen. I don't really like it. - I hope that accelerated playclock is only in the demo. It's ridiculous. - Pass rush only comes from the blitz. - Running the ball is incredibly difficult. I had a good time playing it, though. I lost 10-3. Anthony Becht is fucking horrible. I throw to the TE alot and he can't catch a fucking cold in the winter. The presentation is great, though. Not liking that fumble fight too much but we'll see how it goes, cause this clearly isn't the final build.
I'm playing the other demo now that was also released today with the Cowboys and Giants in the snow. Much better. Giants > Arizona. I'll try the Steelers next time.
I love the play selection menu. I think it is simple and quick. What level are you playing it on? I was running it pretty well on all pro. The pass rush is not nearly enough. That is simple to fix though. Just turn down the sliders for pass protection a little. Love this game!
I was playing on All-Pro also. Just played as the Steelers vs the Cardinals. Lost again, haha. 20-19. I threw a bomb to Holmes with 10 seconds left, taken down at the 5. 2 shots at the endzone.. first one dropped by Holmes, 2nd underthrown by Ben. Before that though, I had my first pick. Polamalu.. pick 6. He's fast as fuck in this game. It was called back due to pass interference though. Son of a bitch. It's definitely fun, though. Can't wait for the full version.

yeah I don't mind not playing as the Jets. I will probably use the Giants alot online. Good running game and good D is a good mix for the kind of game I like to play on madden. accelerated clock is an option in the final build. it is for people who like to play with 15 minute quarters and still have a quick game. the play call screen is more like the one from the ps2 days. i like it, but i see why people might prefer something different.

Just beat the demo on all madden steelers 20 cardinals 10. This truly a great game. For those of you who are struggling. Play it on a level you play with for a couple of games. I played all pro until I beat thee comp 35-10
