I am currently stationed in Alaska and will have a hard time dealing with not watching the Jets this year. Satellite is not allowed where I am living so Direct TV is out of the question. I was wondering if there is anyone with a slingbox that would be willing to let me login and stream over the net?

    Thanks

There's a live stream thread before every game. People post different sites that have the game. Got to see almost every game last year. Justin.tv usually has at least one, but there are others.

i have a slingbox, but i will likely be using it during the jets away games, and you cannot view the slingbox from two different computers simultaneously.

As brothermoose mentioned, Justin.tv has bailed me out in the past but sometimes it's really shitty quality. Better than nothing though.

Another option would be to get Sirius NFL Radio. You won't get the video of the game, but you can get the hometown announcers. My girlfriend (now my wife) got me one while I was living out in Michigan. It's nice to hear Buttle & Co when you're away from home like that. No big dishes or anything crazy like that, although I did have to rig the antenna so it had a clear shot to the outside.

I used to stream myself last yr for a few games, but as the interest grew, so did my bandwidth, and so did my expense. I can certainly do it again this yr but I like to switch channels every now and then try to see whats going on with the other games. Once the time comes, you'll get what you want. There are other plenty of free websites showing it. U might want to download sopcast, ppmate, tvants, and a few other softwares cuz the streams will be on most of them.

Directv offers a webcast, but only one person can log in at a time. If you know someone who has DTV w/Sunday Ticket with Superfan you can ask them if they can let you use their login The quality is very good.

I have a Slingbox, but it wouldn't work. I think you need to sync up your computer with the box itself.

If you send me a sling box i will sling you the games. As long as it does not prevent me from watching them.

You can also downlaod the torrents.

    Thanks to all,

I will look into some of the streaming solutions. I thought about buying a sling and letting my dad hook it up in NY, but he is by NO WAY able to understand let alone hook it up.

Satellite radio is out of the question, they don't even sell it here as the XM/Sirrius sats can't see up this high in latitude. (or rather the receivers can't see)

I have tried justin.tv in the past, but don't know how reliable it will be for a season.

I use these guys - Stateside TV (all one word) dot net

Very reliable, can highly recommend them. No connection to the company etc. just a happy customer.
