The Patriots will have to cut one (or more) of their TE somewhere during TC... I don't think we'll have to worry too much. We will be able to find a good blocking TE. Simmons sounds more like a pass catching TE right?
we need someone as good a Vishante Shancoe on the Vikings. He can block very well and catch the occasional pass. Someone like that is out there.
Well, obviously Keller & Dearth will make the roster, although Dearth is strictly the Long Snapper. This movie, and the release of Andrew Davie, CLEARLY shows that the Jets like in what they have with Jack Simmons, J'Nathan Bullock & the DT turned TE, Kareem Brown. Two of those three will join Keller & Dearth on the active roster, the other will have to find a new home or will reside on the PSquad.
He's a RFA, he isn't leaving Houston. We are going to go into camp with the four (technically five if you count Dearth) and take the best four out of those five. Keller & Dearth will be on the team with two of these three making the roster as well: Kareem Brown J'Nathan Bullock Jack Simmons They absolutely LOVE Simmons, so personally I think its between Brown & Bullock and I think Brown will get the nod on the fact that he can play both TE and DT. Bullock would be a nice PSquad player and a chance to make the team again in 2010.
