Jones was killed in a house fire Thursday. Arson teams are investigating the cause of the fire. Jones, a wide receiver and third string quarterback for the Jets in the 70s, was found dead in the basement. Jones started one game in 1975. Joe Namath came off the bench after Jones went 1 of 5 with an interception.

Both. I could tell you that Jones started against San Diego in the penultimate game of the '75 season, but would have to look up the stats.
