No clue why he is on this team. Ramiro Pena was at least contributing. And why the hell did we bother trading for Hinske

Posada is clearly the Player of the Game today.

I'd say Chino had the drive of the game.

Check that - Aceves is the player of the game.

won 10 of the last 11 games. I'd say this team is gonna make a serious run at the title this year, barring a barrage of injuries.

Oh yea, Hughes needs to be in this rotation. Fuck this shit Girardi.

If by "another" you mean his first, then yeah. Unless you're actually counting the one where he left after getting hit by the line drive, in which case, you're exceeding even my expectations for your post ludicrosity. (Yes, I made up that word.)

Another nonsensical gem by the biggest pos poster in GG history. Go Don!

    You're like fucking clockwork.

Don, go the fuck away. Your shit is old. No one cares to hear about your mindless nonsense.

Nah, at this point you gotta keep him where he is. Unless you're going to send him down to stretch him out, which means he's gone for 2-3 weeks. I mean, I want Hughes to get innings... I've said it from the beginning. But at this point, I'm not sure how much more he has to learn at AAA.

Joba isn't right, but he's also only 23 years old. The same people who were giving up on Hughes when he struggled last year need to show the same patience with Joba. Don't get me wrong. I'm a little concerned, given the velocity, but he needs to sort it out. If they wanted to let him sort it out in AAA, I'd have no problem with that. But don't shuffle him off to the pen. Joba needs innings more than Hughes does, and his problems seem to be mechanical ones. (I hope they're mechanical, at least.)

Also, I'm not sure that it's Girardi's decision to make, really.

If he must leave him in the pen, Hughes better be one of the 5 in the rotation starting next year. Hes a freakin starter. No other way to cut it. I like what he has given us out of the pen thus far, but who the hell is going to be our #5 now. Not Wang, thats for damn sure.

Most impressive. We get 2 not so great starts, and the team finds a way to battle back for the win.

I got to be honest, for this season, I'd rather have Hughes start and Joba in the pen for the rest of the year. And Don is still an asshole, by the way, in case anyone was wondering.

He'll be a starter next year, no doubt about it.

I think you'll see Mitre, McAllister, and/or Nova. Probably in that order.

Or maybe they'll sign Pedro. :eek:hmy:

    Two problems with this:

    1. Hughes would now need a couple of weeks to stretch out.

    2. The problems that Joba is having don't seem to be ones that would be corrected by putting him in the pen.
