hahaha hes so bad out there. Cappy, you really need to come on here and admit that our outfiled is BELOW average. Because it is very below average.
I wouldn't say it's very below average. I wouldn't say above average either. We have a very up and down outfield. Statistically they might be okay, but realistically, they have some great days, and some terrible ones. I'd call them average.
hes Venezuelan with Italian heritage.....just sayin. Our outfield....as far as covering ground and arms combined is below average.......c'mon....Damon is a complete disaster-covers no ground..ofen gets turned around on balls and we know about his arm....Melky in CF is decent coverage wise...decent. Great arm. Swisher is slightly below average in coverage if you ask me and apparently has the propensity to make an ass of himself from time to time...If you substitute Gardner for Melky you MIGHT gain a cunt hair of coverage but then of course you take your best arm out and put in another Damon-like arm....altogether, its a below average outfield.
The fact that it was a poor call doesn't change that our middle lineup guys couldn't get the job done with the bases loaded and less than two outs.
