Since Smizzy failed to vote on league rules & select his keepers, he's officially out of the league. He had a month with the voting process in which I did attempt to contact him on JN and since mid-May to pick his keepers. Since he failed to reply or do anything he's out. I'll be taking names of people to join the league for the next week, then we'll vote in the new owner of the Jetnation Juggernauts. His keepers(which I did for him): Anquan Boldin, Ari WR Willie Parker, Pit RB LaDainian Tomlinson, SD RB Patrick Willis, SF LB Matt Ryan, Atl QB Quentin Jammer, SD CB Derrick Mason, Bal WR Post if interested.
Letting Reggie Bush go but keeping Maroney? That's a sham. Either let the new guy pick em or pick the best 4 or 7 players don't pick and choose.
Mr. Electric beat me to it but I would be down as well. So if any other deadbeat owners are looking for someone to adopt their team and mold and nurture it into a champion just let me know.
Is the league a PPR league? If it is, Reggie Bush is by far the more valuable of the two. I know I should have no say because I'm not in the league, but whoever takes over the team should get to choose his keepers.
Honestly the deadline went by, just be lucky I didn't pick a kicker. IDK why you guys are getting flustered by this. It's your opinion that Bush is better than Parker. MLB didn't get the Expos the best players before they were sold did they?
On the one hand I'm flustered because you at first blatantly picked not the best players after the deadline and it could have determined who other teams kept. On the other hand, the new team shouldn't necessarily be entitled to the same players on the roster just by sheer luck. So I'm torn. A poll may have been better and maybe a hard rule like best 4 players or 1 at each position or something so it is not the commissioners opinion and whim.
You're punishing the new owner because the old guy gave up? If someone is taking over a team, they should get to keep who they want. It's a fact (not an opinion), that in PPR leagues, Reggie Bush is a more valuable fantasy player than Willie Parker.
