It was about 4pm Eastern... but just bought on my lonesome, which may have made a difference as I wasn't looking for two tickets. Unfortunately none of my friends were going to pony up $1000+ for a ST...
DID you guys get 2 seats? 4 seats? more? How many seats did you guys that were on the waiting list get for the 2009 season? thanks for any info
There was a reason why they gave back the waitlist deposits and it was not from the goodness of their hearts. I found out yesterday morning from a post in 17A's thread, did not know my waitlist number since I only joined Sept last year in the high 10,000's. Anyway I searched for the best avail single lower level and ended up with section 111 50 yd line on the Jets side a little less than halfway up and the very end of the row. I have always been a nomad getting tickets at the last moment through TM now going to 4 or 5 games a year. I am very happy to see the final season at the Meadowlands being able to sit in one spot the entire year. Total cost $1258 since they forced you to buy a parking pass even with a single ticket. I go with friends anyway so I'll sell the passes I will not use. I would assume that since it was through the Jets that you will be given the chance to buy playoffs if it happens. 40 years after SBIII, could this be the year? Anyway the 2nd half games are all non divisional.
We've had section 103, row 14 seats since the early 90's. Next season we'll be in 320something, row 19. Thank's Jets!
Will do 17A, for you face value if I can stop by at your tailgate, but I will probably need to use the preseasons.
cool i think my cook needs one again. i just texted him. ill let you know. btw preseason you can park in the main lots without a parking pass.there are no shuttles yet. regular season you need a pass to get in the main lots though.
It was through ticketmaster. You could pick the number of seats and then select "best available" or choose your section: Lower Prime, Lower corners/endzone, Mezzanine, Upper Level, etc. I could have had anything I wanted. I came up with several different choices in Section 114 Row 3, Row 4Row 11, $800 each plus $200 for the parking pass. Several choices in 128 and 130 for $1050 each. I would have jumped on the 114's if I wasn't already in($) for the (partial) season with another partner on Mezz seats. I thought about buying them to resell, or sell mine and upgrade but over the years I've been on the wrong side moneywise with Jets tix, so I passed. The economy has had an obvious impact on the season ticket holder. Many of the seats held by corporations have been given up. Countless regular fans have reduced or eliminated tickets altogether. I am pretty certain you will see tickets available on a weekly basis from ticketmaster. Sellout crowds may be challenging this season.
I bought last week. Happened to check the jets ticket website and bought off the link. I've been on the waitlist for about 8 years now. 2 tickets Section 129 Row 38
Ahh, I see. So you bought a single ticket, that must have been the difference. Perfect location, 50-yard line! Congrats
I bought 2 seats and got Sec. 209, Row 6. I only searched for 2 though, so I'm not sure what was or is available if you're looking for more than 2. Had been on the waitlist since Sept. 2003.
