Sean Springs - Used to be very solid, but now he's up their in age and just a shell of his former self. Darius Butler - Unproven rookie. Leigh Bodden - Played really well for the Browns. But went to the Lions and didn't fit well into their zone defense. He could be solid this year, but who knows. Brandon Merriweather - Solid, but not great. Tank Johnson - was solid with the Vikings for a while. Don't watch many Viking games, so not really sure about him. Patrick Chung - Another unproven rookie Hope that helps. Don't you think it says a lot about the Pats system that when Brady is out, a QB that hasn't started a game since HS could lead the Pats to an 11 win season? I think Brady is very overrated. I think he fits the Pats system perfectly and that's why he is so successful, but put Brady in Detroit and see what happens. It's the system in NE more than it's Brady.

That's funny because I've personally heard analysts rate him right where he's supposed to be. And let me give you a hint: it's closer to where we rate him than it is where you rate him. So, maybe the "rest of the NFL" is a little bit of a stretch.
How, is it dumb? Have you seen him play for other teams? I think to ignore the fact that Matt Cassel came in and played as well as he did speaks voulmes about that system. To ignore that, is dumb.
Or maybe, just maybe they know how to pick personnel. Everyone knows who Cassell was stuck behind since he arrived in college, so I'm not even going to beat that horse. The point being, he in his own right is a talented, smart QB. Yes the Pats have a great system, we all know that as well, but trust me, Drew Friggin Bledsoe couldn't play in that system, so it's not "just" the system. It would be foolish to think so.
