Too lazy to look it up. Is Sheffield still batting cleanup?

He's not playing - he got a cortisone shot behind his knee and is out at least until Friday. Church is batting cleanup (and is 2-for-2, remarkably enough).

Schneider with a 2 run double!

He just missed his third three run homer of the week.

    7-0 now.

And now Reed with an infield single.

This is great, but no doubt Carpenter will shut them out tomorrow and Santana will lose 1-0.

    and we're underway.

Santana has only 11 strikeouts in his last four starts.

Interesting stat cited by the guys on the radio.

Base stealers against Santana this season: 0 for 2
No steals against Carpenter in his last 250+ innings

They just called catcher's interference because Santos's glove touched Ludwick's bat.

    2 men on, 2 out.

    Molina with an RBI single.

Sharp game for the team yesterday, then in the first inning today - not so much.

Pujols just misses a grand slam. Santana will be lucky to get through 5 innings at this rate.

    Carpenter is always sharp.

Something is wrong with Santana. He hasn't been the same pitcher lately.
