That was the best play, they were just rerunning that game on NFLN. Favre should've scored, the slow-ass.
I don't know, just lucky.:grin: That was the 1990 game at Miami that we blew. We were up 13-0 at the half and led 16-13 only to watch marino lead Miami to the GW TD. Interesting note for Coslet, the last time he coached in that Stadium his team held a 16-13 lead late only to watch the opponent score a Late YTD to win 20-16(SB XXIII Cincy vs. SF).
We blew a bunch of games late that year. Miami and Buffalo were in the final seconds, one of them was under :10, I'm pretty sure. Coslet's teams in general were awful at holding leads.
Those teams were dreadful w/ a lead and it started in Coslet's first game at Cincy up 20-10 in the 4th and we lost 25-20. 1990: at miami: led 13-0n at half, 16-13 in the 4th lost 20-16 at buffalo: led 14-0, 21-7, 24-17 and 27-24. lost 30-27 at Indy: led 14-0, lost 17-14 vs. Indy: led 14-3, lost 29-21 1991: vs. Buf: led 20-16, lost 23-20 at Chi: led 13-6 w/ ball running out clock- lose 19-13 in OT. vs. Hou: led 10-0, lost 23-20 vs. Indy: led 14-0, lost 28-27(Indy's only win) 1992: at LA Rams: led 10-0, lost 18-10 vs. Buf: led 20-17 late, lost 24-20 at Mia: led 17-10 and 17-16(after Stoyanovich missed PAT and Carroll gave him choke sign), lost 19-17 1993: vs. Philly: led 21-0, lost 35-30 at LA Raiders: led 17-0, lost 24-20
