SNY fails in the replay department. Seriously.

that probably decides the game there, because I don't really see the Cardinals scoring two.

That flyout by Santos for the second out in the fifth was the first ball in play by the Mets in the air.

48 pitches through 5 innings for Pineiro. Yikes.

Beyond pathetic baserunning by the Cardinals, but it's hard to see this lineup scoring 3 runs against this pitcher.

I think you can substitute 'anyone' for 'this pitcher' and still be correct. This is the new benchmark for awful lineups.

I'd be mad at our offense, but for now, we don't have an offense.

22/27 outs by the Mets were ground balls.

Very fast game. Ended at 10:17 despite a rain delay of nearly an hour.

Best game of Pineiro's career, possibly, until you consider the lineup he faced.

His best previous was a CGSO 3 hitter.

tatis might be the worst player in the mets lineup. it really says a lot about how pathetic their minor leagues are that they're still giving ABs to this decrepit fluker. of course manuel goes out of his way to say how they have to keep him in there because of what he did last year.

Not only does he play, but he bats fifth. Manuel and Minaya are both complete jokes.

Nieve manages to wriggle out of trouble for the moment.
