Well its going to suck to pay gibril wilson that much money to sit on the sidelines. Thats the only place you can hide him. This dolphin coaching staff better be great if they really think they are going to get anything out of Jake grove. Hes an injury waiting to happen. Lucky to play in 11 games.
I haven't posted anything at finheaven. If there a post from raiderjoe it probably the same guy imitiated me on this board a couple months ago. (Fivefingersjoe or something like that)
According to our individual defense stats, Gibril Wilson made 87 run plays this season. That ranks seventh in the entire league -- D'Qwell Jackson of Cleveland was first with 106 -- but more importantly, the gap between Wilson and the rest of the league's safeties is colossal. Lawyer Milloy and Yeremiah Bell tied for second among safeties with just 58 run plays apiece. That would rank 45th among all defensive players. Not only that, but Wilson made his average run play after a gain of 4.7 yards, which is two yards closer than the average safety. I currently have individual defense stats figured back to 1999, and Wilson ends up with more run plays than any safety in the database. The previous record was 86 run plays by Pat Tillman in 2000. Of course, Tillman was making his average play after a gain of 7.7 yards, which is a bit different from Wilson. I find it amusing that not only does this article dispute your uneducated asessment that he missed crazy amounts of tackles by making more run stops than any safety in the league in probably the last 10 years, but also points out that he made his stops at an average of 4.7 yards from the LOS. In case your math is anything like your english comprehension, that's not exactly 8. Satele isn't worth his weight in chicken fat. I'm suprised you guys didn't sign him to a 40 million dollar deal, just to cut him in training camp. The Raiders suck the cock of life.
Listen, you can believe whatever you like, but don't waste your time trying to convince me you know how the future will unfold, cuase you don't. I happen to think the coaches in Miami are a helluva lot smarter than you, so just save it.
The article that I referenced earlier was brought up by JHTH. Gibril is good against the run, the stats for it are as plain as the drool on your face (probably a bi-product of your giant tongue). He's an above average safety that the Raiders paid as though he was the bastard child of Ed Reed & Troy Polamalu while Dick "Night Train" Lane served as the midwife. He made some big money from them and now he can try and get his career back on track in Miami.
According to FTP, the word 'prediction' doesn't exist because every time someone tries to say what they think will happen - based on stats, trends, etc - he lamely responds, "you don't know what the future holds! no one does!" In an indirect way, I think I just supported Raiderjoke. Fuck. Shoot me in the face.
Well....Wimpy does have a way of scoring free burgers....I guess that can be construed as being somewhat "smart".
Samson Satele? Mr. Alligator arms couldn't push air out of his way if he had to. The guy is as worthless as a boner on the pope. Raiderjoe you are just pissed because yo blew it with Wilson and you know it. The Raiders suck.
Well that why some stats(like tackles) is a bogus stat. Believe me I saw everyone of gibril wilson games and the guy flat out sucks. Im not going to argue with or ruin your fantasy of Gibril wilson because I made the same mistake your making now. When Dolphins cut him after this year , please don't give mje some lame excuse why thats was so. The guy sucks and you will see for your self. Now on to jake Grove Lets see he a 29 year old with a very bad knee(microfracture surgury) who hasn't played yet a full season. You will be lucky if he plays in 11 games. Samson satele fits Raiders zone blocking scheme perfect is 24 years old, and even with a torn Labrum didn't miss a game. Raiders got the better of the Dolphins on that one. Bigtime, no matter howe you try and spin it. We will examine thisd thread at the end of the year and I bet your opinion will have change on both players.
First off you want me to produce all the Dolphins post on satele his rookie year. You were talking this guy the steal of the draft. Samson Satele played with a torn labrum last year and still didn't miss a start. Again Samson satele fits raiders zone blocking scheme very well. Thanks for giving us a 24 year anchor for the Raiders oline. LMao that dolphin fans think Grove is an upgrade. You will finds out just how bad the Raiders pull a fast one on dolphins. Yea i am pissed with gibril wilson, because I bought in his hype (look at his high tackles) and thought he was the answer at safety for the Raiders. The guy was very dissapointing playing the run and this guy couldn't cover my grandma in coverage.
Again Giants front seven made this Guy (Gibril wilson) and Giants average at best secondary, look alot better than any of those guys were. The problem is Dolphins like Raiders don't have a front seven like the Giants . Now gibril wilson has to do it on his own. His tackle stat is so bogus that why no one with half a brain to try and use that stat to come up with a reason that this guy is one of the top safeties.( I will admit i made that same mistake last year) Hes not, he has alot of worthless tackles and he can't cover anyone. This was a big time addition losing that bum, from raiders secondary. Maybe after this year when Gibril wilson falls flat bon his face, people will overlook those bogus tackles. Gibril wilson just not a very good football player. I can't waikt till after this year to hear you were right about wilson, from the Dolphin fans.
No , you would have to be brain dead not to remember Dolphin fans everywhere hyping Samson Satele. They were on the Raider board and countless other boards singing his praises. Again haven't seen any of the Dolphin fans saying i am wrong on that one. NOw that their front office hyping Jake Grove(Mr Brittle) as the answser to their oline. Well you soon with be slapped back into reality with your front office. What were they thinking signing Grove.
