Are you kidding? I'd pay to watch two of the biggest homers from other teams battle it out in a debate of the mentally crippled.

Anyone wanna play the role of Don King and arrange this?

I think it would be safe to say the thread starter just might be bitter about the Raiders not being able to afford Gibril Wilson. The Raiders never plan for the future. They just go along signing big contracts at will without any thought. We all know this happens all the time. How in the hell did they not take into consideration that they would have to pay Nmamdi Asomugha.

The Raiders are going to be sorry when Gibril Wilson tears it up on the field for the Dolphins. Now that he is back with a real team (Giants before the Raiders) and teamed up with Yeremiah Bell at the S position he has a good chance to win another SB ring. That would have been absolutely impossible as a Raider.

Wilson was excellent in run support last year. Arguably the best in the league, and the argument can easily be made. I won't waste my time debating you. You're always wrong, you type like a child, and you're the worst homer I've ever seen.

You're garbage, and your posts are steaming bags of smashed ass.

Hey Jeaux! Long time no see, eh?

Now... what have we got here, Gibril Wilson? Let me tell you something: you can find dolphins fan site at http://www.finheaven.com. Go there, and post this.

P.S. Oh, you did already? So that makes you what, troll on two different boards? That's an achievement in itself!

    Awesome...just awesome.

And in all seriousness, you've done Gibril a fair amount of justice with your appraisal. Gibril is VERY good against the run. There's an article entitled "Gibril Wilson Hates Your Running Back" that highlights how effective his play against the run was. Against the pass Gibril is a liability deep, he can play shallow coverage (the role of the in the box safety) quite well, but that's about it. Gibril Wilson is a classic Strong Safety in how he plays. He looks like a Free Safety, being 6 feet tall and a hair or two over 200 lbs, but this is not the case.

I think Gibril can greatly help the Dolphins play the run and he may be used by Sparano (sorry, I don't know the DC of the Dolphins) similar to how Brian Dawkins was used by Jim Johnson in Philly. Johnson would blitz an LB and have Dawkins play shallow center field to fill in for the blitzer. In a 3-4 defense, where you pretty much blitz an LB on every down, Gibril could fulfill this role quite well.

If the Dolphins try to use him to cover deep, things won't go so great. Let's see how it goes.

Paul Pasqualoni. One thing is for sure about the Dolphins, they are well coached adding Dave DeGuglielmo to this impressive staff. The Dolphins won't put players in postions that will hurt them, this staff added Wilson for a reason.

Says who???????? Where are you getting your information from. Ive seen ever game Gibril wilson played for the Raiders. LEt me tell you the guy makes Roy Williams look like a superstar in coverage. Now gibril wilson excellent in run support. LMao guy missed so many tackles and was run over quite frequently. Yes Gibril wilson had a ton of tackles but for all those tackles , i don't think one was near the line of scrimmage.( yea enjoy those tackles eight yards down the field.

BTW Enjoy Center Jake grove - who has had microfracture surgury and hasn't played anywhere close to 16 games in any season. The guy will be sitting on the sideline quite frequently. Thanks for Samson satele.(highway roberry Raiders pulled on dolphins) Samson Satele came out the winning there, going to team that could win multiple superbowls in thew coming years.

We will address Gibril wilson and jake Grove after the season. Just remember I told you so.

NO Gibril Wilson is not very good against the run. The fact is just like the rest of the Giants average secondary was made to look alot better than they are, due to unbelievable talent they have in their front seven.(See Chargers with Merriman and how much better there secondary looked) Raiders fell for fools gold. Believing Gibril wilson was pretty good in run support. The guy had so many tackles but your can't even count on one hand the amount that were impact variety. Most of those tackles were well down the field. Gibril wilson had alot of chances as he met the runner in the hole and he lost most everyone of those matchups. Maybe your just talking about a diffrent type of running back you see in the AFc West, than he saw in the Nfc East. Gibril Wilson we know he can't cover anyone but his run support is so overrated. Again after you watch him this yearyou will have a better appreciation of what im talking about.
