Again check out Brandon Marshall first year he had 20 receptions. Than he exploded on the scene in his second year. Chaz schilens didn't play anywhere close to Brandon Marshall did his rookie year and yet his numbers were pretty similiar.

IF you followed the draft like GM you would know Matt jones was a Qb in college. Your talking about a conversion and the fact that Jones like nose candy too much. Those conversion take alot longer than a guy who been playing WR his whole career.

BTW- Jets do have big problemsa at reciever. First your 15 month older TE Dustin Keller than Zach miller is not even a TE. Not even in Miller catergory as a reciever. Second Leon Washington is not even close the reciever that Mcfadden is. Mcfadden can run pass patterns , Washington can't. Right there i8s why there passing corps is light years ahead of the Jets.

Here is the Jet Raider matchup I ask you how can the Jets win.

    Lets see Jerricho cotchery 6'0 207 versus N Asomugha 6'2 210 , Chansi Stuckey 5'11 185 versus chris Johnson 6'0 200 and David clowney 6'0 188 versus stanford Routt 6'1 195.; Rb Leon Washington 5'8 202 versus wlb Thomas Howard 6'3 240 . Dustin Keller 6'2 248 versus sslb jon alston 6'2 235.

Now I ask you none of those matchups Jets can win .

    NOw check out Raiders offense. TE Zach Miller versus Bart Scott/Davis harris D Mcfadden 6'1 211 versus scott/harris Chaz Schilens 6'4 225 versus D Revis 5'11 204 DHB 6'2 210 sub 4.3 versus Lito Sheppherd 5' 10 194 , Louis Murphy 6'2 200 versus D strickland 5'10 185

How are jets winning any of these matchups.

It's amazing how quickly an article about the Raiders turns into something negative about the Jets. Raiders fans and Mets fans have alot in common.

And since when did football become a boxing match predicated on individual's matching up height and weight? You're whole argument is the Raiders as a team are going to compliment each other's talent and make them dangerous, but then go into pointless one on one matchups against Jets players?

What should concern you is the Jets are very good against the run and should be even better this year with the additon of Scott and Leonard. This would force Russell to throw the ball and up to this point he has yet to prove to even be a 55% passer.

This is the time of year the Raiders are suppossed to look great. All the athleticism and talent is going to be magnified when you're just wearing shorts and a t-shirt and yet they can't be healthy enough to even do that. Especially after playing two tough games against the Eagles and Giants, I would temper my expectations for the 10/25 matchup.

They won't. The Jets should just forfeit the game.

Except, your teams sucks. Most losses in the NFL since 2002. And still you come trashtalking every year to a team that doesn't even play in your division every year. It's like you're retarded. Go bug some Chiefs fans. At least they would give a shit.

And Chaz Schillens sucks moose cock.

Listen all you have to watch last year tape. Jets WR(with Coles) couldn't gain any seperation from Raiders CBs. Your WR corps is way weaker this year. Leon Washington catching passes out of backfield not going to work against the best man to man cover Lb in football.thomas Howard. it was no accident that Leon Washington had one of his worse games of his career against the Raiders. D Keller is going to use his speed against a guy way faster than him. (jon alston 4.4 compared to Keller 4.5 so0mething)

You have no weapons on offense that can hurt the Raiders. They load up to stop the run and your offense is finished.

Jets on defense are going to have some serious problems dealing with Raiders weapons on offense. Mcfadden and Miller are going to embarrass the Jet defense so bad that rex Ryan might quit at halftime. All day long those two will be victimizing Jets defense.

The Raiders did such a good job last year holding Thomas Jones to 159 yards, what makes you think with the addition of Shonn Greene the Raiders will be able to stop the Jets run this time around?

JeMarcus Russel is the kind of quarterback I will love to face with this Rex Ryan defense. He struggled when he played Baltimore and I'd expect that same kind of stat line from him against the Jets.

Are you kidding? Russell has recently revealed he can now see the future and will know what the D is going to do before the play even happens.

Plus the entire Raider team can run a 4.3 forty and are all 6'3" and taller. Deal with that!

Raiders started alot of undersized Des last year that contributed to having trouble stopping the run. That won't be the case this year.l IF Raiders have to they just play a 5-2- 4 . They lose nothing defending for the pass. As raiders easily take out all the Jets weapons on offense. A one dimensional offense (Run) is not beating the Raiders.

Again Raiders had a severly depleted offense last year against ravens. Russell actually played pretty good. (raven players were impressed) The diffrence is Jets have no answer for TE Zach Mikller and D Mcfadden(will embarrass any LB you want to trry and cover him with. Raiders Wr have some serious size and speed that will give Jet secondary some serious trouble defending.

Well there is a reason why you haven't won a championship in over 41 years. Your organization is screwed . Your buying into the flat slob hype he trying to convince the Jet fan base with. Like father like Son. Buddy couldn't get the job done as a headcoach, and neither will his boy. Talk is cheap. I wonder how long jet fan base are going to give Rex Ryan, before they are ready to stringup the fat slob..

Simple.....ask anyone who has any remote knowledge of the NFL which team they'd rather be this year, Jets or Raiders. Ask a Dolphin fan or a Pats fan even. Even they will confirm the suckiness of the Silver and Black. I'd rather be a Lions fan, at least they can't get worse.

Yet every year you come on here and spew volumes of horseshit explaining why the Raiders are going to be so good. Every year you're wrong. Why should we believe a single thing you post?

I..for one....am looking forward to the annual "Raider collapse" this year.....the occasion has become a solid tradition for the last 6 years. Another couple years of this tradition...perhaps it can be made into a national holiday.
