The BILLS were up by 9 in the third quarter of the first game. They were up 9-7 at halftime. That to you means the game was never close? C'mon man, put the pipe down and enjoy some reality once in awhile. I'll openly admit that the BILLS folded that game with Trent and Royal helping to give the game away, but it was no cakewalk for the DOLPHINS. In fact, I don't remember any Miami win being a cakewalk for them. What was their largest margin of victory? I think it was NE, which the favor was returned later that year when Cassell had 400+ yards against them. The DOLPHINS skated through most of the 2009 season. What was their record against playoff teams last year? 1-2? I think SD was the only playoff team they beat. They got creamed by Arizona and Baltimore in the regular season. They never dominated anyone. They bettered teams, but never dominated them.

So JP's lower comp% and lower total yardage equates to a better game? For Miami, yes, for Buffalo, no. Stop arguing just for the sake of arguing.

It may have, but his success in Miami is being treated as Bretts failure in NY. A lot of Jet fans here only want to dwell on the negative, not Bretts...Chads. He isn't even a Jet anymore and the majprity of Jet fans with their idiotic beliefs are trying as hard as they can to convice everyone "IT'S ALL CHADS FAULT". As you can see, the majority Jet fans are never wrong, even when they are. Yeah, it's the Dolphin fans who don't get it.

    bahahahaha!

you keep bringing in other variables to justify your weak arguments. Favre has nothing to do with Pennington's style of play and his lack of being a "clutch" player......and Turner.....also had nothing to do with this.

Now i know why you like to go back and edit your posts.....you rely on "making shit up"

Tell me, how many games end at halftime? It's ok, you can say it, everyone knows.

The Bills were a "cakewalk" remember they were coming in 5-1, they had confindence not Miami. But Miami was much better coached, they were more focused and wanted the win more. You need to stop trying to find a way to give a team that constantly sucks year in year out credit. The Bills have had one winning seaosn in the last 10, that's sad and it's far more telling than your over the top opinion of the Bills.

Miami was coming off a 1-15 season with a rookie HC a new OC, DC, GM, new offensive and defensive schemes and philosophies for the second year in a row, 4th in the last 5 years. The Bills were in year three of their "rebuild" with their "QB of the future" and the "most talented RB in the division". Yet Miami managaed to win 11 games and the Bills...well the Bills finished dead last without a win in the division with yet another 7-9 season. But you want to find reasons why 11 wins just wasn't that impressive? Amazing, what some people consider perspective.

JP's 1 TO and 100 less yards passing is better than Trents 100 more yards passing a 3 TO's. Any coach in the lague would tell you this.

In reality...you have nothing to argue, the Bills were dominated in both games aganst Miami. Miami won the division the Bills finished last, Miami made the Playoffs, the Bills didn't, yet again. The second you accept the reality of those facts is the second the "argument" stops. Deal with who your team is and stop begging for respect your team doesn't produce or earn.

Yet the results in NY with Brett or Chad or Vinny or Clemens are STILL the same, But only Chad is the problem, go figure. Yeah, I'm the one with the weak argument.

Just because I don't respond to you does not mean in any way that I agree with you. We just disagree. Should we continue when it's apparent that you can't give the BILLS any credit for anything? As far as you're concerned, they have the worst tasting beer in the NFL too. Their hot dogs suck and their tailgating is way over rated. Not to mention the color on their uprights is less yellow than the rest of the NFL.

Your goal is to bash them. Go ahead. Do your worst. When Miami is at the bottom of the division this year, maybe you'll either learn something or hide.

Yes because no one on here has blamed Edwards, or Mangini or Sutton or Hackett or....etc...Everybody blames Chad. Get over it man, you are way off base here.

So you want to split hairs that Joey Porter or whoever is better at their position than Chad is at his, great. How did Miami do with all those guys on their roster before Chad got there?

Regarding the other three QBs in the division being hurt, that's a reach. First off, let's eliminate Buffalo from the conversation, they weren't winning the division. Favre didn't miss a game for us, our defense also went downhill at the end and got beat up by Seattle's second string, so that's a reach. That leaves New England, who still went 11-5 and got solid QB play.

Miami won the division on tie-breakers by beating us and the Pats on the road. Tom Brady doesn't play defense, so he wouldn't have stopped Chad from throwing for 200 yards in the first half at Foxboro before they broke out the Wildcat in the second half when they were already way ahead. You can make the case that with Brady maybe they go 14-2 and win it, maybe and maybe not. In either case it doesn't help us and doesn't change the fact that we, the Jets, gave Miami the key to their turnaround and they finished ahead of us.

Parcells brought in a bunch of guys to solidify both sides of their line. He also brought in a bunch of competent coaches. You can't compare the 1-15 team to the 11-5 team and pretend like the only difference is Chad Pennington. Again, he helped but was not the only difference on the team.

Favre didn't miss a game but sucked ass after being injured. Our defense went downhill when Jenkins got injured and became much less effective.

Who knows what Buffalo would have done if Edwards didn't get injured. He was playing pretty well for them. Granted the strong start was against weak opponents but nobody knows how well they would have done if he stayed healthy. Even when he returned he wasn't as good as he was early in the season.

As for Brady, that team was 16-0 the year before with him at QB. Do you really think they wouldn't have won at least 1 more game if he wasn't injured?

Injuries are always a part of the game though. All I'm saying is that they played a significant part in Miami winning the division.

The Jets gave Miami a competent QB. I'm not going to argue against that. There were many other factors involved in them winning the division though.

I'm not going to argue with any of your points, they are all good ones. Again, all I'm saying is that without Chad there is no way Miami wins the division. They improve with Parcells and company, no doubt, but not winning the division under any circumstances. Best player or not, which seems to be your point of contention, Chad was/is their QB and that made the difference for them, which is not to pretend he did it by himself. Nobody does it by themself, we all know that.

What pisses me off most is we gave them Chad on a platter for nothing. Aside from the fact that I loved Chad and hated Favre, I even understood the move at the time as much as I hated it and lobbyed against it on here. I sucked it up and rooted for Favre because I had to, but seeing how it all shook out just pisses me right off. The only silver lining might be--might be--that we ended up with Ryan and Sanchez and who knows what that will bring us. But that is putting hope above what has actually happened, something I've grown tired of in 35 years as a Jet fan.

The way I see it is that IF both Favre and Jenkins stayed healthy we would have won the division and had a much better shot at advancing deep in the playoffs than Miami. I think we had the better team all around when healthy. In my opinion our o-line was better, or d-line was better, our QB was better and our d-backs and receivers were also better.

The drop Penny for Favre move was a risky one that failed. We all saw how good the team could have been if they had stayed healthy though.

I pray that Ryan and Sanchez work out as the silver lining. I thought Mangini did a good job of building the team, but had some crazy game plans at times that pissed me off to no end. He seems like a smart guy who knows football inside and out but just needs to learn how to be more flexible on gameday.

Let's hope the silver lining comes through.

So tell me, if all that is wrong with the Jets, why is it not possible with more talent and better coaching Chad can't produce better results? I don't think it's beyond reasonable to think Chad could succeed in the post season with a better team, only Jet fans don't want to hear that, they just want everyone to believe all of NY's post season problems were Chad.

Well "IF" Chad were Tom Brady, we would have the better QB and "IF" the Jets were the Steelers, they would be the world champs. Point is you can say "IF" all day long, all that matters are the facts. How do you know the Jets still would have won the division? Fact is the coaching is what lost games down the stretch, not Brett or Jenkins injuries. Maimi lost 2 starting G's and WR Camrillio last yer and didn't have the right personnel to run their system to it's potential, but Miami found a way to win 11 games regardless.

I love how you make excuses for the Jets losing down the strecth as if the injuries were valid for the Jets, but Miami loses to the Ravens in the playoffs and Miami was just that bad and it was Chad being Chad. Not because our Oline was nowheres near the talent levle BP wants to compete at the highest level or our injuries.

Miami was in the first year of a major overhaul and still managed to not only win but compete in their own division. Now I know you only want to give credit to the Jets and only the Jets are offered any exceptions when they lose, but the fact is Miami won because of coaching and hard work. We were very much the least talented team of the three that were fighting for a division title, but we still won. Thanks to Chad and a very good staff Miami played each game one at a time, not three weeks in advance.

Again you have no problem giving the Jets credit, but Miami was one pass away from sweeping the Jets last year, both games played with Brett and Chad starting. Even though Brett claimed to be injure, he sure had a lot of zip on the ball in the final season game.Miami beat the Jets, your injuries against ours and in your house, Miami wins the game, yet you still act as if the Jets were superior, I guess talent isn't all it's craked up to be.

I think the Jets will have a better D, but Ryan and Sanchez will have their work cut out for them. IMO Ryan if off to a bad start by getting into a pissing match with a division rival player. While Jet fans may enjoy it, Ryan is only making the players unhappy and giving them something to prove. Rayn doesn't make plays the players do.

You continue to lump all jets fans together as if everyone hated him and blamed him. You are wrong. I don't agree. I liked Chad, I even have his jersey, but I can't disagree with those who say it is time to try a new direction. Which the Jets have, I would further clarify my stance by saying I didn't think Favre was the answer either, didn't agree with it.

Chad has had success in the playoffs, we just didn't win a Super Bowl. The main problem as I see it has been having New England's dynasty in our division. If you don't win the division you end up on the road against better teams, and we even managed to advance one year that way, winning at San Diego and lining up for two game-winning kicks at Pittsburgh to go to the AFC championship game. Chad certainly could have played better in a couple of the games, the one year I just mentioned he was playing with a torn throwing shoulder, but when we lost in the playoffs it was on the road against heavily favored teams.

It's fine by me you think it was time for the Jets to move on, however for the majority of the fans here, it doesn't end there. The majority of Jet fans here want everyone to believe Chad will continue to fail and then get their panties in a knot if anyone disagrees with that opinion. So I'm not "lumping" all Jet fans, just the ones with the ignorant one tracked minds. Basically the majority of fans here want everyone to agree with their opinion and will resort to namcalling anyone who doesn't agree with their opinion. Obvioulsy those that think Chad will do the same things no matter where he plays are entitled to that opinion and no one can disagree simply because it pisses them off.
