That's the truth. FTP had one single post for the duration of the 2007 season. It's in September. :)

Glad to see you add so little to the conversation with your childish insults. Is that how you work? You read something you disagree with and your ability to post like an adult goes right out the window, or are you just a child all the time?

Did I start any of the threads I'm positing in? I didn't think so. I'm simply replying to the idiotic opinions of the bias.

The bias? You are on a Jets site, what are you expecting exactly?

And we are simply scoffing at the weak arguments of a fair weather fan.

No, I disagree, most Bill fans aren't blaming Trent for the lack of success in Buffalo, unlike Jet fans and Chad. Maybe since Jet fans can't seem to do it why don't you tell me how many HC's Chads had since being a Jet or why If "Chad" couldn't win the "big games" the Jets get rid of Chad and spend 100 mill in upgrades and still can't win a damn thing, since Jet fans are so convincecd it was all Chad maybe you can tell them how any of what happened to the Jets last year was Chads fault? Maybe at some point in time Jet fans will figure out the NFL isn't about one position, one player, one coach, but the odds aren't looking too good.

I don't know at least a little reality. I've been on other fan sites and the entire fan base doesn't act like Jet fans. You can have conversation with rival fans without the ignorance. Go back to my posts from last year especially in the "NFL Forum", I gave the Jets huge props for their off season moves, I was very impressed with what the Jets did last year and I was picking them to battle the Pats for the division title.

Oh I had lots of respect from Jet fans at that point, but If I defend a Dolphin player, namely Chad Pennington Jet fans lose their minds and ability to post like adults because they aren't hearing what they want to hear. Everyone that comes here has to face the fact that Jet fans respect no one and nothing or else. Seems to me it isn't the rival fan with the problem.

That's cool, but I'm not reading where JETS fans are blaming Chad solely. They are just realizing his limitations. Ultimately, it starts and end with the QB, but there are other factors involved.

In regards to Trent, I think there is a substantial portion of BILLS fans that are skeptical of Trent, including me. After all, there are still fans out there that think JP Losman got the shaft in Buffalo. Trent has a bunch of weapons at the skill positions to work with now. OL is a big ???, but with running the No-Huddle this year, it should offer some help. How much is the big question.

As far as the JETS, I think they are making the right moves, but a a year or two away from seeing substantial results. They should be happy with the direction their team is going.

EDIT: In no way whatsoever am I of the mindset that JP Losman belongs anywhere near an NFL field.

I think you will find that on most forums. But then again, I rarely go anywhere other than Jets forums. You may remember alot of angry fans here when Favre was brought in and Chad dumped. Me being one of them hating Favre. And remember the Jets were contending, until Favre's arm gave out and he kept playing anyway. Not that he was the entire problem, but it was a terrible finish.

That's a very objective breakdown of this thread. But you are arguing with someone who wants to believe that Chad will lead his team to the Super Bowl, so it is inevitably lost on deaf ears.

I understand the anger, but that isn't my fault. Should I just accept the opinion Chad is a huge failure in big games siumply because Jet fans say so? Like I said I was of the same opinion the Jets were gonna contend last year, but I think the rest of the team quit playing when Brett got hurt. Good coaching should have kept the Jets in the running despite Bretts injury. This is my whole argument against the thinking Chad was the problem with the Jets.

That 08 Jets team was still the same talented bunch that was 8-3 after the Titans game, but poor coaching is what did them in, not Bretts arm going south. They could still have had success without Bretts strong arm, instead they lose big down the stretch. Blame the coaching not the players, injuries happen it's part of the game it's those teams that adapt to the injuries and continue to win that are the best coached. This is the ultimate team sport, you don't win every game and lose every game because of one player.

    are you really THAT moronic?

The playoff game with the Ravens last season was a bonafide "Pennington" collapse.

Since you obviously don't give any validity to the previous 8 years he spent with the Jets.....that Ravens playoff game should be proof enough in your retarded little mind.

They adapt to injuries by replacing the guy who is injured. Which in this case did not happen.

If you wish to believe everything is Chads fault, be my guest. I won't continue to argue with you.

Correct, whos responsibility is it to replace the injured player? Especailly when the injured player refuses to leave the field even if that means it's whats best for the team, the coach? See Brett loves his ironman title, he cares more about the attention than his team winning the game. Brett knew how injured he was and he continued to play. That wasn't a good decision on anyones part and the teams success was hindered by the decision. Brett at one time could play through the injury, but age catches up with everyone and Bretts decision to continue to play hurt the Jets chances. The Jets should have taken their chances with Clemens, they should have come up with a conservative gameplan that envolved the running game and good defense. That's where good coaching should have taken over.

let's just change the thread title to - Fair Weather Fan defends a QB he hated only 2 years ago.

Its like Jason Taylor becoming a Jet. I'd still never root for him, even if he got 12 sacks. He's still a piece of shit.

    This thread needs to die.

    Stop posting in it.

I just think the name in the title should be changed to Cramming Chowder.

Holy redundant posts, Batman! This thread is going in circles. FTP just keeps saying the same two things. And now he's going back and editing his previous posts to enhance his argument? That's just sad on so many levels.

    Please, someone close this thread.

I might take one for the team, hijack it, and get banned if it means it'll close this goddamn thread.

Unlike Jet fans saying the same "one thing", everything is Chads fault?
