Division? Setting your sights a little low, aren't you? I don't like the idea of this guy with his legal and behavior issues, but he's a monster. Having a sure-handed guy like Cotch, along with Keller, and Leon/Jones/Greene out of the backfield. That is like a dream situation for a young QB.

Marshall isn't going anywhere. He wants more money. He'll get it.

They haven't been in the playoffs for awhile, so it's not like a top team losing their leaders.

I'm not sold on Cutler in Chicago... not at all.

    No. He isn't.

Plax has had his "OMG...I'm going back to serving cofee at DD forever" moment.

Marshall is one good right hook from going to jail for just as long as Mike Vick.

Denver doesn't have to do crap. Everyone said Boldin's value went down when he demanded a trade. Guess where he is right now?

Umm Plax is going to jail, his trial is probably going to be delayed until spring, but he's going to do time, I'd bet he pleads in late winter early spring does something like 3-5 months minimum.
As for Marshall he's been involved in so many problems and has an alcohol problem, his next arrest is an 8 game suspension.

I'm not a big McDaniels fan, but I completely disagree with your assessment of the Broncos having watched quite a few of their games. They were atrocious on defense, the only reason they weren't the worst D in the league is that Detroit is nominally an NFL team. You can't win a superbowl without at the absolute least an above average defense and a running game, also a weakness last year. Denver was a 500 team last year, and 7-9 the two years before that, even if they go 5-12 or 6-10 this year they are starting to build the team as a contender, solidifying the D line, getting secondary playmakers and special teams standouts. I think they are building the team the right way even if the PR has been a mess, i'd say they could be a real force in the west 2-3 years down the line, they still need a NT unless fields takes a step forward, or the rookie from hampton. I like the way the secondary looks, they need a MLB, Orton is a decent placeholder, but I'd expect them to replace him down the road (possibly with brandstater who could be developed into a cassel type player)

Agreed, Plax would just be a mercenary for hire, whereas Marshall would be here for years to come. Plus Marshall>Plax

But why couldn't MCD rebuild the D and ST and still have Cutler on board? I mean, what's the point of letting a pretty good QB go? What was the point of looking into Cassell when you had Cutler? You can't tell me he's better than Culter. I'll buy that MCD is more familiar with Cassell, but what the hell does that matter? This is the NFL. Players come and go yearly.

It's ridiculous at best. MCD is a bum.

The video is awesome. One on one coverage doesn't work with this guy.... even a couple of defenders have difficulties. I can just imagine what this guy would mean to Cotchery and Keller's game. Sanchez to Marshall would be insane.

Marshall to the Ravens would be ridiculous. Derrick Mason and Marshall outside, Mark Clayton in the slot, that o-line, that running game, and Flacco tossing up 60 yard jump balls? Yikes. They've got a two year window max on their dominant defense, they should pull that trigger.

Marshall could take our offense to a whole different level, regardless of who the QB is. Cotchery and Marshall on the outside, Stuckey in the slot, Keller working the middle, Jones, Greene and Washington in the backfield WOW
