I was at the game. Any team will get their brains bashed in when the ace of the staff decides to take a shit on the mound and the team cant get a run home with the bases loaded and no outs.
But it's actually not an exaggeration to point out that the new stadium is on pace to give up more home runs then any other in baseball history. Obviously we'll have to see how this plays out over the rest of this season and a few more seasons to come (if no adjustments are made) but in that time, and as we've seen already, some embarrasing moments (in terms of home runs) will happen. This is what makes the fan/media reaction legit. I have no idea how you can qualify that statement. Seems you may be a bit faux sensitive to Yankee based criticism.
I suppose it's because the stadium is too hitter friendly that you guys scored zero runs. It's okay, the series is over now.
Any thoughts or comments on the Bruney K-Rod dust up before the game. For the record I think K-Rod was full of it. He wanted someone there to hold him back so he could make it seem like he was outraged and look like he was the aggressor. For some who said "who is B. Bruney" and he's not upset, it sure looked like he was able to find him easily and show how unmoved he was by the comments. The guy is a fake, while he may be a great closer he's still a POS who showed up his teammates with his actions after castillo dropped the pop fly...
I agree wholeheartedly. Great pitcher, but he's not gonna stand up for himself. You can bet that one of the Mets will throw at a Yankee over this when they meet up again at CitiField, but he'll let someone else fight his battles for him. It reminds me of the 2003 ALCS when Clemens threw a high fastball and Manny started walking out to challenge him. He looked real tough until Clemens stepped towards him, then all of the sudden Manny couldn't wait to have a teammate hold him back.
 See you jerks next weekend. I'm interested in seeing how many Yankee fans are going to be able to infiltrate Citi Field.
when I heard Joe Buck express his disgust at our new stadium I knew we were doing something right. Hey Buck, it may be news to you, but you know who gives a shit about your opinion? No One. You imbecile.
When Rodriguez hit his homerun Saturday he said something along the lines of "And there's another embarassing homerun out of Yankee stadium." Granted the one ARod hit WAS a popfly, but the ones hit the other night, and more often than not, were pretty legit. I just hate it when some douchebag with no legitimacy lke Joe Buck act like they're the final say in the matter. Newsflash: Everyone hates you Dick Head, and no one wants to hear your opinion. It's similar to when he bitched out Pam Oliver. He's just a blowhard with no clout. And that's what irks me ever more.
