a testament to how stupid dolphin fans really are. They make fun of the shitty quarterbacks before Chad, it was their team that actually signed one of them (Ray Lucas)

Oh well Vinny T, gosh all the SB's he won and all the records and MVPs, gosh what was I thinking.
Why cause a Jet fans says so? Who died and made you the judge of all things QB? Chads better than pretty good, out of the 32 starting QB's in the NFL last year Chad was 9th. That's better than "pretty good"! Especially since Chad was the QB of a team that was coming off a 1-15 season and he himself was on a new team. Aaaannnddd!!! He holds the NFL record for completion %,,,,for the entire history of the league! Annnnddd, he broke Marinos single season record in completions.

Yeah that's it, all his stats and success is just the imagination of the fans of the team he plays for while everyone else in the league is wearing special glasses that allow them the see through Chads Alien skin. Do you realize how ignorat what you're suggesting sounds?

Forget the fact that Chad had the best season of his career away from the Jets. BP wasted little time signing a QB that lead us to a division title, a division title that had to won against the very team that was sure they had the answer to the QB position and why? Because the Jets can't figure out how to fix whatever it is that keeps them from winning important games. But that's OK frutrated Jet fans need some kinda outlet to the frustration of not winning anything no matter who the QB is.

The Dolphins finally had one season that they had more than a couple of wins. Of course their fans are going to be cocky and confident. Let then enjoy the offseason, because the actual season won't be so enjoyable for them

Sure. Enough talk, step up the plate and back that talk up. 100 dollars via paypal at the end of the season donated to this site. Worst record pays up within 1 week of the end of regular season. A moderator will see to it that the bet is payed in full, otherwise that poster will face a permaban.

Im extending officially extending you the bet. Are you going to step up, or back down? All I want to hear is yes or no. I dont need your bullshit explanations...

Went further than Chad ever did in the playoffs.

Ah, the old "Chad is exceptional because numbers say so" argument. Its amazing what Chad turns fans into.

Ask Bill Belichick about Chad Pennington. Ask any Coach or Coordinator who knows how to set up his DBs to jump an out route in the 4th qtr thrown by Pennington.

this whole paragraph means nothing. What did you win besides the regular season? Its shocking the Chad was in your division for his entire career and you still don't know what he's all about. Fucking incredible.

I <3 how Dolphin fans think that winning the division is some major accomplishment, you guys act like you won the super bowl.

Just for the sake of perspective, here were the standings in the AFC west:

    Chargers 8-8
    Broncos 8-8
    Raiders 5-11
    Chiefs 2-14

The Chargers were the division champs and a .500 team.

    Back to the AFC east last season;

Were the Jets horrific down the stretch last season due to terrible coaching, quarterback play, and their run defense crumbling (Jenkins level of play dropped due to fatigue.)? Yes they were.

Were the Pats less than amazing without "Tom Terrific"? Yes they were. (not to mention a slew of injuries that decimated their defense. - and don't get me wrong, not trying to defend the pats here, just making a point)

Was it a huge improvement for the Dolphins to go from 1-15 to 11-5? Yes of course... But don't act like you're the Steelers coming off one of the hardest schedules in the league followed by a super-bowl win. The Dolphins are not by any means a dominant football team.

 Right. Because the Jets did so much better than Miami in the last decade right?

Look, we all know (and some laugh) about Miami's 2007 season. But check this out:

    Dolphins seasons, 2000-2006:
    2000: 11-5
    2001: 11-5
    2002: 9-7
    2003: 10-6
    2004: 4-12
    2005: 9-7
    2006: 6-10
    Total: 60-52

    New York Jets seasons, 2000-2006
    2000: 9-7
    2001: 10-6
    2002: 9-7
    2003: 6-10
    2004: 10-6
    2005: 4-12
    2006: 10-6
    Total: 58-54

So yeah. "The Dolphins finally had one season where they had more than a couple of wins"... OK. Sure. Whatever...
Let's ignore history and pretend like your team actually has been better than the Dolphins...

Even counting 2007&2008, the jets still had one less win than Miami...

That this thread has hit 12 pages is a testament to the shortage of real news over the last couple of weeks.

And yet, despite all that, he still got bounced in the first round by an aggressive D -- just as he has throughout his entire career.

Oh wait, in the past 8 years, it wasn't his fault; rather, it was bad luck that he always had an inferior team surrounding him when it came time for the big game.

Unfortunately a ton of those completions were made under 10 yards. Most of his yardage comes from YAC. Chad is the master of the dump off, just to complete the pass. It's great. 3rd and 15 and he throws it 7 yards. I love that stuff.

He's a decent QB. His stats are largely inflated, and rarely reflect the outcome of the play or the game. So you can pound your chest all you want, that's great.
