These aren't Crowder's smartest comments ever. In fact I wish he'd have shut his trap. But your most hated player in the league? Over Brady or Vick? Crowder hasn't done anything good or bad enough to be that noteworthy. I hope he plays well enough this year to deserve your hate.
I agree he hasn't done anything, i may also say that if they asked Rex Ryan about Channing Crowder he would respond with "Who is that?"
Well Vick isnt in the league... so he cant count. Also Brady has plenty of haters myself included, but there is also tons of respect thrown his way. Idiots like Crowder who talk shit, and have done nothing to back up their trash, and cheapshot artists like Harrison (not in the league anymore I know) and Vince Wilfork are the guys that recieve pure hatred.
I have a feeling he wont say that channing crowder is no slouch, lets be realistic for a minute... If you watch football and know football you know damn well who that man is..
What did Channing say that was so bad? He simply pointed out that Ryan is talking as if he took over the best team in football and he has little work to do to win. I think Crowder is right, at least have a winning season as a HC before you start mouthing off about how great you're gonna be. It's one thing to speak this way to the team, but to take it public is just ignorant. All you're doing is giving the other teams in the division more fuel for the fire, not a smart move for a first year HC.
I also found those comments odd? Does Crowder need reminding that Ryan's defense beat the piss out of the Phins O last year in the playoffs? Like I said if it was somebody that was good or has accomplished something in the league talking trash back; fine. But it's some decent player who got his ass beat by Matt Light last year and ran away from Light after he was getting pounded. Somehow I don't think Bart Scott would respond the same way towards Light, in fact I would venture to gather most NFL LB's would fight back instead of getting thrown around like a bitch. Hatred .... As an athlete, I am appalled at the notion that someone is discrediting the fact that a player/coach/whatever is confident in their teams ability, and expectations to win. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a damn fool, and shouldn't be allowed to compete professionally. 5. I agree with this statement 100%. However, what Crowder said regarding Ryan and his confidence is the exception to this rule.

Did you even read the quote form Chowder? I've heard better sentences and thoughts from 12 year olds.
