how the hell could they install leather seating in an outdoor stadium that is exposed to all the elements? leather hot in summer cold and winter and what kind of leather would withstand and endure being outside like that? wow just when you thought you heard it all. whats next video monitors mounted in the seats directly in front of you yea right!
They will be covered when not in use, just like the leather seats at Yankee stadium. Think really big tarps.
Hi, I read the first few pages of this thread and then some in the middle and then the last couple of pages ...... lots of good info for people on what sections of the stadium are available, etc ..... My first question would be for 17A. Those photo's on the first pages are a great look at the new stadium being constructed but you mentioned that you and 14 other top seniority people got to take this tour. How did they go about picking the 'top seniority' people? I've had tix since 1966 but the Jets don't acknowledge me at all except to cash my check every year ..... just curious.
covered? so after each game after cleaning the place they are gonna cover each individual seat? another reason this place should have had a roof.
cause leather not breathing under a tarp with water going under it and then the sun drying up all that moisture is going to be so much fun for that leather. what a bunch of douchebags. f woody is the best name i have seen on here.
leather is not for enduring the elements. whoever designed this feature is a douche bag was it woody johnson. this is a disaster waiting to happen. mold mildew etc ewwwwwwww psl seat stinky seat.
New Stadium/PSL/Seniority When this whole New Stadium/PSL/Seniority thing began Woody Johnson said "My most loyal fans will always be first in line !!" ..... What a bunch of BS that was ... What he meant to say was, "My most loyal fans will always be bent over first !!" 1966 seniority AND documentation to prove it !!!!! (old receipts, copies of checks, plenty of old tickets from the 60's & early 70's (Loge Section 5 @ Shea) and when it came time to rank my seniority the Jets didn't want to hear it and I was thrown in with the LAST of the 77' group since I currently reside in the lower endzone ..... Your Most Loyal Fans First, Huh Woody ????????? Instead of charging PSL's, why not raise the price of Q-Tips & Baby Shampoo by a nickel ???????
Train to the Game The train is supposed to be operational by the end of Julyon a limited basis, and is supposed to operate for the upcoming 2009 Football season
I'm also 1966 and sat in the lower endzone section 120 in the Meadowlands. I stayed in relatively the same location moving to section 104 in the new stadium. What section are you in now and where will you be sitting in the new stadium?
That is exactly my point when U want to U understand me completely. When U decide to follow the crowd U feign that U do not understand me. All sounds quite fishy to me. Oh yes please add this one to ur glossary wud=would
I have also been on the sunny side forever. But when I was called, it took me a heartbeat to switch to the shady side. What good is the sunny side anyway? I am forced to bring a baseball cap and dark glasses to all sunny games, and the sun only helps me maybe twice at the end of the year. Switching sides was a no-brainer considering that I got what I wanted on the shady side. My current seats are on the 50 in the 4th row of the upper deck. So I wanted to be in the first 4 rows of the new upper deck. Though when I was called on May 4th at about 2:30pm, I wasn't given the opportunity to be on the sunny side, but there were seats on the shady side. And i took it. I have no idea how there were so many people ahead of me who filled up the first 4 rows on the sunny side so quickly, and that seemed fishy given my seniority and current seat location.
may 4th was day 1 of Phase II. funny right.but champ got first row sunny side and he was a week and a half ago.
