It would help to have something to cheer for. Namely a defense that stops someone on 3rd down when we're all up and yelling, instead of giving up a big play and taking the air out of the place. It goes both ways.

It seemed like he wanted to say kiss his ass, but tempered himself. I'm sure thats what he's saying in the locker. That may have also been a veiled ding to Mangini who constantly kissed Belly's ass I like how he took responsibility for the loss the Ravens had against the pats, and basically is really to move on from that this is going to be great!!!
I agree with what he said. I go to VT and Lane Stadium is considered one of the hardest places in the country for opposing teams to come in and play. There isn't a single second when VT doesn't have the ball when all 70k fans aren't screaming as loud as they can. The opposing team has to call time out after time out and they can't even hear the snap count
I loved D-Rex on WFAN!! Wow. How inspirational is that guy! Francessa brought up the Pats dominance and Ryan said "I didn't come here to kiss Bellicheck's rings." Then Francessa asked if there was a message he was sending them and Ryan said "I already did. They heard it. They come in Week 2 and we'll see." :jets: I have a smile on my face a mile wide. bottom line is: REX IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!! he definitely gets me fired up for this year even if its technically a transition year.
Good interview but the thing that annoyed me was Francesa He says "Do you really think your personnel is good enough to be that good of a defense out of the gate" I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering Fatty said it was a joke that Revis made the pro bowl.
I want to pack a cooler with beer and take a football and go to the stadium NOW!!!! How bout backing it up fans and being there at 12:45 to show the team we are also serious. Rex is the man and Fatcesca still gives the best football interviews.
