Good to hear about the defense. Not new news (from Twitter reports) but, it's good to hear Rex sound impressed with how far and fast they've come along.

 

Rex makes Mangini look, uh, slim?

It's not easy saying Mangini and slim in the same sentence. So I typed it.

 

raving about the D and having tj and leon back. calls them the great equalizers

 

going on about the strength of having multiple talents in the backfield. fatcessa asks about relationship with the dirty sanchez and how its different as a defensive minded guy. rex says its important to be close to him as well as all his players and coaches. says they need to be open with each other so the dirty one knows what the team needs to succeed

 

says that even though they are gonna be lights out on D, to not expect the offense to be 2nd tier in any way.

 

talking about sanchez as a celebrity. makes fun of the GQ spread (in a lighthearted way) and says anyone who has a problem with him is just jealous cuz hes got money and gorgeous girls chasing him everywhere. says hes got a level head for a kid in his spot.

 

I like what he is saying about Sanchez.

 

qb competition: says Kellen is ahead mentally at this point. knows the system very well. says mark is learning very fast against a very tough D. makes more of the WOW plays than kellen. says its a great competition

 

says schotty knows what he likes to see and he lets schotty do his thing.

 

I like that Greenbeanz is doing this because it brings up all those spivey avatars.

 

I'm loving his cockiness, and his thoughts about Kerry's Tweet about the unit and not the individual!!

 

likes his players to have some attitude. likes kerry rhodes. thinks we have #1 defense. guys have heart and love what they do and love being New York Jets.

 

He doesn't want to win A championship, he wants to win MULTIPLE championships. I'll just take 1 for now Rex!

 

talking about the upstate TC move. says the new facility is best hes seen in the NFL by far, but wants his guys to spend time together with no distractions. wants them to be a family and have pride in each other and themselves. also likes taking them out of the comfort of the new place. says only guy getting their own room is the guy who they feel has the best results in OTAs

 

wants guys to maximize strengths instead of putting them in uncomfortable situations (love this. def a big change from mangini style)

 

says we are gonna attack the pats hard.

 

OH YEAH! He's talking shit abt the Pats and Beli. I love it. I hope he fucking brings it when they come to the Meadowlands.
