Last year at Shea I thought the last year at Shea for Jets was 1983, and they moved to Jersey in 1984?
If you're referring to me, I did put myself on the wait list. FINALLY was offered tix last year, but deferred since I had already bought (better) seats from my friend. I can get you the exact dates for how long this took if interested (and if you ask with a little nicer tone....I'm surprised you waited 10 years and think that's normal but can't fathom 12. That's just a 2 year difference).
Here is a little glossary for U so that U can better understand me. Make sure U hang it close to ur computer & refer to it often U= you R= are B4=before ur=your B=be 2=to cause=because C=see I have a quuestion to ask U if U claim U cannot understand my post how come U constantly flame me when a NYJ player is a turd or worse? Sounds to be U R serving us a ton of BS & I did not include that in my glossary since I am sure U know what that means
Guys, thanks for all the Izod lot exit tips - you get into a routine as to how you get out of parking lot hell and I've tried to map some alternates in the past with no success - now I have some new options. I'll sure miss the days that if you go there 8:30 in the morning your reward is that you can park where you want. It will be really tough for have not's to tailgate with the have's in the new stadium. I'll also really miss the guys I've sat next to for all these years. The killer drive (I live in New Fairfield) along with the new parking, higher ticket prices and being in the nosebleeds might mean the end for me. Sometimes I even end up on the Bear Mountain Bridge given how bad the Tappan Zee is especially in Sept/Oct.
why dont U all just park at reds sports bar--cost 20 bucks and takes like 12 min to walk but out of their parking lot u go right to the GW and left to the city and jersey. im a giants season tix holder and have been parking at that place since i was 5 years old and it was the half way gogo.
Joe Willie, got your PM but I can't reply since I don't have 50 posts yet - yes it's us (Tom and MaryAnn from CT) - great to hear from you - see you in Sept.
those tips are only good for 1 year next year there will be all new exits. actually when i went there in january the exits coming from 16w where completelty gone. they are not just buildinga new stadium folks, they ahve reshuffled the parking arraignements will be removing the practice bubble and practice field.some 84 lanes of exits instead of 16. so yes all this it takes me 7 minutes to get to hartford is gonna be shuffled come sept when the meadowlands is completely torn up.
That is my personal rating of a particular poster based on what I consider there knowledge of the NYJs in particular & FB in general
This is only my third season buying from someone else. My spot on the waiting list actually came up last year but I had to defer it because I had already given my friend the money to give to his father's coworker and I didn't have enough to get my own seats. Besides, I knew all of this crap was coming up with the PSL's last year and I knew if we stopped buying from this guy who has pretty good seniority that we would lose out altogether. He would have just sold his tickets to someone else and then we would have been shut out using my tickets. I have no idea what I'll be offered as far as my spot on the waiting list goes. If I can't get uppers, or if I can't get the $4k PSL's I'll just keep deferring my spot on the wait list to the next year.
It's just a stupid rating system made up by a stupid man. I know I have to be at the top of his list by now. Making the top spot on his retarded list would be funny to me. Supposedly, it stands for LW=light weight, and SLW=super light weight, at least that's what someone else had posted. It really doesn't matter when you think of the poster making it, and the truly stupid shit that's spewed out of his mouth over the years. He has the ego the size of one of the blimps that will be flying over the stadium because he actually believes he knows what he's talking about. Anyway, back on topic... Good luck to anyone who is getting their call today. May you get the tickets that you desire, and most importantly, that you can afford
Because we like to tailgate and I am not doing so in the lot of a bar. I see you guys walking down 120 and just shake my head. This is not a Devil game, its a football game. Thanks anyway
The advice given to '309 all revolved around leaving from the Izod lots and getting to 17 North.. Those lots were done over during the course of the last two years..likely because of Xanadu... but they are finished now so the suggestions given to him will remain valid.
The Devils were smart enough to get out of there and move to a city. Best thing they ever did, aside from winning three Stanley Cups.
I agree, we had our changes around the north lot of the IZOD last year and we are still good. Its the south side of the stadium by Rt.3 that looks like a war zone.
First post--Does anyone know what type of seats (leather vs. plastic) the 1st four rows of the upper deck will have? For the Giants, these seats will carry a $5,000 psl, so i'm guessing these seats may be leather. Does anyone know?
