How the hell is TO and Evans better than Fitz and Boldin?

I was thinking the same thing. Yet I think it's alphabetical like Ace said.

Actually T.O. and Evans have over 40% of the vote. Fitz and Q have around 28%. I can't say I agree, but I also can't say that I'm upset.

    What a nonsense poll.

Jets fans, hear me! Mark Sanchez might bust like Ryan Leaf. Shonn Greene might suffer a career ending knee injury. Leon Washington might hold out all season and our defense might give up 500 yards a game.

But whatever happens, I assure you, the 2009 Buffalo Bills are going to be very satisfying for us Jets fans. If I were Trent Edwards, I would request a trade to an Arena football team.

I don't think this was about NE receivers being voted in 3rd place in their own tabloid, as much as much as it was a Bills fan seeing people from NE rank the Bills WR combo at the very top (even tho there are more ESTABLISHED and consistent options out there).

I don't agree with the vote. I'd have Boldin/Fitzgerald, Welker/Moss, and Marshall/Royal all ahead of TO and Evans.

TO is gonna make Edwards and Evans life living hell.

Randy Moss and Wes Welker have zero Superbowl wins. Lee Evans and Terrell Owens have zero Superbowl wins. Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin have zero Superbowl wins. That makes Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes, who have 2 Superbowl wins between them the runaway winner in this contest.

Of course the real answer is that WR's don't win Superbowls so this kind of poll is silly to begin with. Who has the best punter in the NFL? Oh yeah that'll tell us a lot about the pecking order...

I admit it is hilarious, but I think Fitz and Q are a better 1-2 punch than T.O. and Evans.

Yeah. A real hoot. And I agree with you, almost everyone on that list is better than Evans and T.O.

It's weird to see a "best WR duos" list without seeing Wayne/Harrison and Housh/Johnson on it.

How so? Both are legitimate #1 receivers. Only ARIZONA has two #1 receivers on their roster, and I'll openly admit they at this point, they are more of a sure bet. But with T.O. and Evans we still don't know what we got. Both can take it to the house. They just have to learn how to work together. If T.O. can't make it work in Buffalo, with a 1-year contract, he won't be in the NFL next year. He'll shut his mouth this year, and either resign with Buffalo, or find some other team that thinks he may have turned the corner. The fact is, he's not a hood. He's only a big mouth. Plax shot himself in the leg, and there are people on this MB that are screaming for him. T.O. will have a good year. T.O.'s not even the biggest ??? on this team, it's the OL.

Having a "good 1-2 punch" at receiver is completely overrated. That just means you have two good receivers. Yeah, those guys matter, but the best offenses usually have solid contributions from their 3rd and 4th best receivers too.

Check out the BILLS receivers. Josh Reed is a solid slot receiver. He's #3. If the BILLS go with the No-Huddle this year, they should employ the K-Gun style with a three-receiver set, TE and RB. Lynch is pretty solid out of the backfield catching passes, and Shawn Nelson should contribute as well. That's 5 targets for Edwards on every play. The OL needs to stand their ground, or we'll get creamed like last year.

Uhhh. According to their options, they are #2 best receiving core.
