I think that was far more mumble jumble then fact since I doubt anyone of us EVER canvassed EVERY STH in the UD to determine which team they rooted for. Many things posted on this board MUST be taking with a whole lot of grains of salts especially when the poster or posters are generalizing

Seniority Buster Yes, it was me. And yes I am pissed. But the person who jumped the line is a friend of mine that I very well can't just put their name out there. It just pisses me off that I know that the JETS allowed this. I am not quite sure how to go about it though.
this isnt about being a better fan or how much money you spent on the nyjets its about a simple plain logic. my upper deck seats are not being charged a psl fee ive been sitting there for 16 years. the lower level seats are charging a psl fee. what gives anyone the right to bump me out of my seats. the lower level seats are now psl you either pay it or go on a waiting list to acquire uppers when they become available. nobody should be taking seats away from anyone here. screw that
Well common sense should have told U the situation U mentioned wud come to pass once Woody announced that the UD wud be PSL free & that picking those seats would begin with STHs with the longest seniority in the LD between the 30s then would continue with those in the LD EZ & then move up to the mezz with the exact same order as the LD to apply & then those folks in the UD with longest seniority. Since the UD can only accomodate 27,000 seats the situation now arising was preordained once the announcement of the free PSL UD. If you feel the NYJs are wronging U legally why not begin a lawsuit against them? I am sure others in ur boat wud support ur efforts in that regard

its a new building. if they started charging a PSL at Giants stadium and those people didnt want to pay it,yes they should be ass out. but we are getting a new home and everything is being reshuffled
common sense? please lets not go there. my brother in law and i own upper deck seats been sitting in the for 16 years. always paid on time bought playoff tickets. we never requested an upgrade to lower seats. we were happy where we were. all of a sudden a psl fee comes about. so now its ok to bump upper level fans based on seniority. somethng is not right. you own lower seats the nyjets decide to psl fee them. you either take them or you dont. what gives you or the nyjets the right to take away what we rightfully own. we dont owe the nyjets any money have never had a stadium violation. this organization has been and will continue to stick football and other off field ongoings up all our asses. this is totally unfair whether you like it or not. your problem becomes my problem because you cant or wont pay a psl fee screw that jack.
when i read this thread i cant help but picture champ as a big bad wrestler in a battle royal tossing opponent after opponent over the top rope.and when he is finally ganged up on he either kicks and claws right before being eliminated or weasels back under the bottom rope after falling on the apron.
its a sad situation when an organization pits season ticket holders against each other like whats transpiring here. is woody taking lessons from the wwe or what? its just not right whats going down totally unfair.
Yeah, I can understand both sides. Someome who's been a season ticket holder for 35 years and can't afford PSL's should be allowed to sit in the uppers and someone who has tickets in the uppers for 16 years be able to stay upstaris and not pay PSL's. The whole thing sucks.
One way for the jets to sell off the unsold PSL's without disturbing the existing seniority structure would be to place the remaining PSL's up for auction and telling the bidders that should you win the auction you can apply any amounts already paid for PSL's which are worse toward the winning auction bid. Yes, this will result in a deep discount on the asking price, but the JETS don't wind up with any unsold PSL's and everyone gets a crack at the best remaining seats.
sec 314 the lower season ticket holders enjoyed the luxury of sitting in the lower level possibly even under cover yes they paid for it.while we sat in the upper level and paid for it also and never complained getting rained on snowed on you name it. i remember a specific cowboy game were we had hail. we never complained about the view. now all of a sudden the nyjets decide to institute a psl fee. so now all of a sudden the uppers are good enough for the former lower level ticket holders. so lo and behold they bump me out of my seats and possibly out of the stadium. fuck that man yes im pissed and im possibly going to take a trip to Hempstead to the ticket office and voice my complaints. its simple logic the lower level seats were assessed a psl you either afford it or you dont. if you cant you go on a waiting list for when seats in the uppers your new choice seats become available you get them on a seniority basis. bumping people is just not right.
I know, I could have moved downstairs years ago but I chose to stay in the uppers and now I have lower level people taking my seats and moving me the end zone and up 10 rows, I no, but these people have been season ticket holders 30-40 years and Woodie feels that they deserve the option first. I feel terrible for long time holders who sit in the uppers now and will have to pay PSL and sit lower. Its sucks.
more than likely my brother in law and i will be bumped out of our seats and out of the stadium if im reading this all correctly. the more its discussed the more pissed off im getting. my option is buying tickets online for 1-2 games depending on the cost and at this point who cares. this entire situation could have been avoided with a price increase for the entire stadium the and not opting for the psl. woody johnosn can careless about the fans hes all about the money.
Yes plain old common sense. Do U think the LD or Mezz STH did not pay his money on time just like you? Because if he did not he would no longer have season tix just like U if U did not pay. So that is just a really plain silly excuse if U ask me. Also I think if U want the NYJ tix office U have to go to Floral Park not Hempstead since I am sure the office is no longer in Hempstead. You do realize in the ultimate end unless you have major pull within the NYJ organization & that person is willing to assist U the situation in the most ultimate end it is what it is & sorry to say & with ur 16 years of seniority U will have to come up with a difference scheme if U wish to continue having the game day experience. As a suggestion maybe U can get together a cartel of friends/family & purchase a PSL & split the tix amonst all members of ur cartel
Yes that would have been one way of doing it. That is exactly what Kraft did up there in NE so he would not have to implement PSLs
