Why did the Raiders whiff on Crabtree? Because they are a joke of a franchise with inept management and they will be lucky to win 10 games in the next 3 years.

Crabtree isn't the first rookie who believed he had "arrived" before ever playing a down in the NFL.
    Where's the scoop?

Nothing will ever justify him being taken at #7, unless he turns into an elite WR.

I don't see that one ever happening.

Raider fans need to stop making excuses for why their team sucks, and start going after the source, which is Owner and management. If Raider fans would put half their energy that they use to make up so many excuses for why they suck, then they would already have Senial Al heading towards the exit door.

They both aren't going to be amazing WRs.

Okay Mel Kiper/ Ww85 or the GM(so called draft experts)- tell me the trade they could have made to move down. What player was the other teams target that they were moving up for? Its easier said than done to move down. IT sounds nice when your sitting behind your computer but in the real work it dosen't work out that way. Again DHB was the Raiders pick a month before the draft. You have that much conviction in a player you go out and get him.

Says you. You still think D Lowery can be a capable starting Cb in this league. I rest my case.

BTw this little excerpt from OTC . Some things never channge.
RB Marcel Reece shook DB Justin Miller out of his shoes on a run after the catch. The shimmy move that left Miller standing there like a point guard with broken ankles after Allen Iverson took him to school at the 3-point line brought out a loud chorus of "Whoooooo's" from everyone watching. Miller just threw his hands up in admitted defeat.

This is the most exaggerated, poorly-written, ill-conceived excuse for an article I have ever read. According to this article Crabtree is an arrogant, conceited, self-centered punk with glaring injury concerns that is clearly trying to hide that he lacks speed and isn't even as talented a player as the great DHB.

According to reality Crabtree is the most talented prospect in this year's draft and will be a talented player in the coming years.

Jeaux has never been much for reality though, so this website is his favorite thing ever.

A voice of reason. This is exactly right. The faders made a huge blunder taking him so high.

If DHB is the second coming of Jesus as you say, you could have easily traded Derrick Burgess and the 7th to New England for the 23rd, 41th, 58th picks and still picked him up.

If your head wasn't up your arse, you would know the Giants said they had a deal already in place to go up and get DHB at 16. Now don't you feel pretty stupid.

If DHB really was a great pick...you wouldn't be on here every five minutes trying to legitimize it.

    Please get neutered.

If you didn't have your tongue up Al Davis' arse you'd know the 23rd, 41st and 58th picks could move you into the top 15. But this is you we're talking about...
