    ramon martinez is even worse. murphy is fair game to be PH for, but this guy is untouchable.

    Only the Mets... the guy spends half of last year in Triple A even with the MI woes the Dodgers only to get called up when the Dodgers get even worse then desperate and realese shortly after.

    Omar shoud get some credit for addressing the bullpen but other than that his lack of addressing the bench will once again cost this team any real shot at winning the World Series.

    I never thought I'd be thinking "What about Argenis Reyes?" but there it is. If you're going to have a guy that can't hit at all he might as well be able to play the field.

    Omar does the same thing he always does. He does a decent job of making reactive changes in the offseason but he is never proactive. He doesn't seem capable at all of anticipating problems that may arise during the season or anticipating that older players may not perform like they did the previous season.

    That is Omar in a nutshell, okay at addressing obvious problems but hideous at potential problems.

    And Jerry is trying Murphy at 1B tonight

    God, the Mets are morons. Murphy should have been over at 1B weeks ago, but nooo they just had to forcefeed him more LF and get Jeremy Reed's bat into the lineup.
