lol. When did I say stats are all that matters? I didn't. But on the other hand they are definitely an indication of your production. And he is lacking in it

If you have some reason for why he isn't overrated then say it

He can be a great emotional and on-field leader

Yeah that's a first. I'd easily take him on this team with the exception of Sanchez

Steelers fan you can't discount what big ben did in his 1st yr with perhaps one of the worst o-lines he had to deal with

Yeah, anyone can, and yet is anyone else on the jets teams making those optimistic motivational quotes in all these articles? No.

I know if I was a Jets player I'd be fired up.

I wouldn't be fired up by anybody who said motivational quotes but couldn't produce on the field

He produces just fine, he may not produce like a superstar, but he is more than good enough

and I'm saying that that isn't the case...he is a pass rushing linebacker that doesn't ever get sacks and can't tackle. He is one of those guys that goes for the big hits and piles on tackles after the play, but can't be counted on as a consistent tackler

So, let me ask you this, why would he be so highly rated by his coaches, teammates, and Ravens fans if he is so bad?

Or perhaps yours is the biased opinion of an arch-rival?

lol yeah...that would explain my dislike of Big Ben too, huh?

As far as your 1st question, i think that you are giving the definition of overrated. And typically coaches/teammates/fans aren't going to give a guy a negative review from their own team

I'm merely assuming you hate the Ravens more then you hate Big Ben.

Right, they aren't going to give a negative review, but if a coach leaves the team, and the first thing he does is sign a certain player, then he must think highly of him. That's not just trying to make him look good. Also, Ravens fans are giving glowing reviews of him after the trade, so that negative review theory is moot.

But if I give 2 players that I dislike, and 1 is from my own team, then it seems that I am not being biased now doesnt it?

I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree. You can form your opinions off of other people's opinions. I will form mine by watching football

The year he had 9.5 sacks, he played OLB. Since Adalius Thomas left, he changed positions and was forced back into coverage more.
