Give him his money..he is not getting paid much by a player of his caliber standards right now and he deserves more, especially if he is going to get more touches this year. We need Leon.
Leon is in the same situation Kellen Clemens is in: the CBA is out for next year and so he'll be an RFA instead of a UFA barring a miracle. The question is whether he's Brian Westbrook or Bruce Harper plus. If he's Brian Westbrook you lock him up to whatever deal you have to do, and figure he'll tandem with Shonn Greene for the next 5 years or so. If he's Bruce Harper plus it's a tougher question, because that's still a great player but not one you can break the bank over.
I love Leon Washington and he's a exciting player, but so far in his career, he's only proven that he's a legit kick returner and a good change-of-pace back. I really wish he would play out his contract and then request a bigger deal.
Fuck him. Cut his ass and sign Correll Buckhalter after he's cut by the Broncos. He played with Westbrook enough that he should be able to play like him by now.
leon hired this agent to get him more money. the agent is doing his job. leon chose this man to do what would get him the most money. he is just as selfish as any other player who holds out. that being said, pay him now.

Ehh, fwiw I would've considered Houston an above average short-yard back. And this deal with Leon... I thought I read somewhere that the contract talks were going well. This bites, but I think we should pay him.. and whatever they do, they need to do it quick.
Well, this just ruined my night. Let's hope they can get a deal done. It would serve us well to get this done now and without creating any drama. We need to lock him up long term anyway, so let's get it done.
