Nice to see A-Roid is back! Longoria-A-Rod-Pena make for an insnae fantasy baseball lineup, should win me some $$$ here in 2009.

I'm a Rays fan and will be rooting against the Yankees and A-Rod but a HR here or there wont hurt.

Fair enough. Sounded more like you were saying that Torre got the credit for that.

I also am looking forward to plugging ARod into my fantasy lineup. ARod and Pujols in the same infield.... Championship!!

Maybe Arod has finally learned how to deal with pressure..that first at bat was probably the most pressure he ever had in his life in a baseball game. That's the kind of stuff legends are written about..and will be in this case too.

That was some comeback by by ARod. One pitch, three runs. Figures I wasn't even home for it. I did get to hear it in the car though. Sterling and Waldman are a terrible team. They did say the entire crowd was giving ARod a standing O though, even after booing him badly and holding up foam syringes.

Great job by CC too. That's exactly what we paid all that money for.

The crowd was probably half Yankee fans and the radio maybe didn't pick it up but he got as many cheers as he did boos when he stepped to the plate. After the HR though they are correct and it was all cheers from everybody. Actually and not surprisingly Teixiera got booed worse. (probably because that included the Yankee fans :) )

So now Kennedy needs surgery too.

You doubters are going to look silly when he wins 20 games and the Cy Young.

Come on? He has pitched two good games in 3 years. Well, more like one year..he was hurt and on the DL the other two. He stubbed his toe or something.

Hughes must either be a head case or a retard. Obviously he shows signs..once every 5 starts or so but then he looks absolutely terrible. Two TERRIBLE TERRIBLE outings in a row now.....And Alio was ready to trade Wang last week. Fuck this Hughes....best best case scenario this guy ends up a 3rd starter...maybe. With the way he was touted, complete BUST.
