The Rays lead the major in pitches seen per game. It's usually the Red Sox or Yankees that see the most pitches, it's the Rays so far here in 09. End of 1st. 1-0. Brad Penny already up over 30 pitches. Bullpen by the 6th.
I'll stick with this thread right here. The Rays are only one of 4 teams that since 1957 with two players with 30+ RBI's or more after the first 30 games. Last team to do that was the M's with Edgar and Tino Martinez.

The trash talking started last year...And it wasn't from me. Want me to bump up the thread? I can. I was called everything from a "Bandwagon Fan", "Fake fan", this and that...The bottom line is this, I have a Devil Rays thread over @ JI.Com from 2006 where I was talking about my Rays... Some "Fake fan" huh I was attacked last year just for being a fan of an up and coming team. NY fans cant deal with the trash talk back? There problem.
I'm telling you because I want this Forum to stay high quality stuff. Mets-Yankees, Red Sox-Yankee - all mortal enemies. Somehow everyone gets to needle each other in a civilized and intelligent manner. This is a very good baseball forum, and the guys here have been bantering back and forth of several years. Root for you team, spar back and forth, but bring something more than trashtalk. OR, bring your trashtalk to the proper forum.
