What fails to be seen by alot of people in this thread is that this Jets team was 8-3 at Thanksgiving. If not for an epic meltdown by Brett Favre and the coaching staff they may have been the #1 or #2 seed in the AFC. Everybody wants to assume our situation is like the Giants with Manning or Alex Smith in SF.... it's not; those teams were awful and that's why they had top 5 picks. Our D will be vastly improved and we can run the ball with one of the best run block OL's in the league. This team is not the typical draft a franchise QB at the top of the draft. We moved up 12 picks into the top 5 to get this guy.
based on Sanchez's personality alone, because he hasn't thrown a pass yet... I don't think that collapse happens... he would have woken everyone the fuck up.
The Dolphins just released Beck, who was also a #2 and has the same body of work as Clemens. No chance we get a 3rd rounder. Aside from that...This isn't happening Griese sucks.
I'd like this too. If Clemens pulls out an outstanding year, then franchise him and trade him... take the extra picks and run with them.
I think unless Kellen outplays Sanchez by alot in training camp go with the kid he is the future of our team. I think after three years on the team Schotty does not have faith in Kellen. We have the team for him to do well. 1 good O line 2 good running game 3 good D 4 FINALLY a coach who is going to be aggressive.
Clemens knows the system better than anyone ....He WILL stay play/teach wtv his role will be come training camp but no way they let him go.
this is a dumb thread and complete speculation. Griese is not wanted and will not come here and clemens isn't going anywhere. I think Brian Griese started this thread to drum up some talk on himself.
