those of us who dont like it arent going to like it until its proven to be good or bad. so i ask that we all move on and stand up behind these guys. as even though i cant stand sanchez i dont want to be right about it. and guys on the other side please stop trying to force feed us that he is the savior... it will take time for us to be comfortable with what happened this weekend.
I didn't agree with our decisions but I am ready to move on. I can also see an upside. We have a very young and talented offense right now. Most of these guys could be playing together for us for the next 10 years.

Do people really think that Cleveland "ass-raped us" as somebody so eloquently put it? Really? For a marginal starter who's playing time was gonna get cut anyway, 2 backups and a second round pick?
The Jets drafted like a champion this weekend. They never draft like this. Tanny is making a name for himself.
All I want to see is everyone give the kid his shot. After he loses his first game or throws his first pick I can see this board calling him a bust... It's going to be a long season.
3 JAGs who will be forgotten when their careers are over and the 52 pick who was used on a kid who I don't think will do well in the NFL for a possible 12 year starter and face of a franchise who hasn't had a face for their franchise in decades... its fucking robbery. Its close to Collusion, which is illegal in ethical practicality. And people won't stop being excited for another few months. TC begins in June, so the Month of may will be a little quieter, but then its going to kick up again. Get over it.
the one thing i'd like to see us practice is patience... but i know that i'm asking for the impossible on here.
alleycat, after all these TGG years, you can't possibly expect the complaining or debating about unprovable issues (at this point in time) will stop the Monday after the draft.
On the Cleveland side of this, remember that the Browns did not need a Qb and had more needs in several areas than an open position where a top pick would have made a big difference. Elam and Coleman will probably start for them, and they got picks, too. I don't feel sorry for Cleveland.
No one should. They got 3 players who will help them transition to the new regime. I don't think any of the 3 are long term solutions at their positions, but they'll serve a purpose.

I dont know if you guys saw the interview Sanchez from radio city on sunday, where he talks about wanting to come by the jets facilities while he was in town last week and being told no - it wont let me post the link but theres a nice video of it on "zennie62 dot com" anyway, every time I listen to this guy, I can't help but be excited over how much he really WANTS to play for the jets. To me, this could be the perfect storm we've needed to get us out of our historically negative rut with quarterbacks. Way I see it, the jets did their part going to get him. He's doing his part making us feel like he wants to be here, now we've got to do our part letting him know he's our guy.
