I don't think I've ever heard his name mentioned on this board, but I seriously cannot stand this guy! Is it just me, or does anyone else get the feeling he has NO IDEA what he's talking about? He mispronounces names constantly, and just generally seems completely clueless as to who he's introducing, asking a question about, etc. UGH! Your thoughts?
I know he's merely the anchor. His job is incredibly easy, when you think about it. Yet, he STILL manages to come across as uninformed and almost "ditzy" in a way. Maybe I am the only one who thinks so!
I had "Fire Brian Custer" in my sig for a while last season, but really as a joke back when half the board wanted everyone in the Jet organization fired. Over the weekend, I think when they were intereviewing Sanchez, his eyes were bugging out of his head and he looked almost like a cartoon character. But really I have no problem with him. My question is where was Ray Lucas this weekend? Big draft for the Jets and Rutgers and no Ray Ray on the tube.
Really? I missed that, saw Sunday it was Custer, Buttle and I think Cimini. Maybe that's why Lucas wasn't there for the interview. I missed the whole trade/pick, wasn't expecting the Jets to go for a while. Was doing yard work with the radio on, while I was in the shower the whole thing happened. By the time I got to a TV I saw a scroll across the bottom of NFL Network with a slew of Jet names, Coleman, Elam, Ratliff, then I figured out what happened. I was stunned.
I forget exactly what happened but lucas was very irritated on air on Saturday. Maybe they told him to stay home on Sunday? he was making comments, making faces, he looked very unprofessional on Saturday although nothing about that show is professional.
Lucas isn't afraid to speak his mind and say who he doesn't like, I'll give him that much. He can be unprofessional about it a lot of times, but he's honest and interesting at least.
Lucas said before the draft he would walk off the set if they made the move for Sanchez, hopefully he did for good.
I like Brian Custer a lot. I think he asks good questions and doesn't try to sound like a know-it-all like a lot of others do.
the worst guy is adam schein. His voice is sooooo goddamn annoying. and that fat guy too. unfortunately sny has horrible, god awful news casters
Yeah, he's pretty grating. He drops his own name into any quote from a player, too, to remind us they know who he is, when they probably never even called him Adam.
LOL! I saw that too. That guy is such a dweeb. I can't believe they can't find someone better then him to host.
