He's a good fit for the JETS, but those 3 picks would've been a better fit(especially given the players traded away for Sanchez). Overall a bad move hmy: :shit: but I have a feeling there's a trade involving Thomas Jones in the works
Wow. Players from William and Mary, Eastern Michigan, Western Illinois, Cal Poly, Nicholls State, Ohio, Troy, Northern Illinois and Western Ontario were drafted before any from Miami, Michigan, or Notre Dame.
green is weak? Every report is that it takes at least two people to tackle him...Hes 230 lbs and played smash mouth in the Big 10. Hes weak? no.
I love this pick of Greene, I believe we dump Jones now for a couple of picks today or several for next year....I agree with your comment about the Pats ...they understand the draft is a crap shoot and pile up the picks...
Hallelujah! Now we never have to hear about Jarron Gilbert again. The guy obviously wasn't a priority for us. Move on people. When Shonn Greene runs his ass over in 2 years to get into the endzone on 4th and goal people will be praising the pick.
My point is that if he is a defensive guru then developing a young defense would be the best way to go. Thats how he could help us the most as we move forward.
man...so now the pats have three 2nd round picks next year in what is supposed to be a deep draft class? gotta hand it to them, they do a damn good job of stocking up every year...
It's insane. The stupidity being shown by teams to trade future seconds for this years third is a philosophy I will never EVER understand. And Josh McDaniels is a shithead. How the hell do you sign 8 million running backs if your going to take Knoshawn. And then trade next years first round pick for a second rounder. Awful awful stuff. I love our draft. Wish we had more picks though. Not alot of the guys I want will be around in the 6th round.
Our defense is already pretty young man, we're really only old in the trenches. Our LBs and secondary are all under 28 I believe
