This dude singlehandedly ended Penn State's Undefeated Regular Season. He is a beast.

But would he have been available in 11 picks?

What picks do we have left?

a 6. That is it. And we have more than one need... WR, TE, DE.

We still have a big hole at TE man. Not to mention DE & WR

We will prob address the TE need in the 6th. Rex Ryan clearly feels his defense was good but the offense needed some future talent.

WR we will just have to do.

if you're starting a rookie QB (or at best an inexperienced QB in Clemons) having a run game is crucial. Nice pick.

As for our needs - we can pick up a blocking TE after the draft, no big deal.

I would like to see some D-line depth. If Jenkins gets hurt, we're in serious trouble. Plus, we are dangerously thin at DE.

We will fill our remaining holes with free agency. Or maybe a trade or two...

Would Arizona take a #2 next year for Boldin and if so, can we afford to sign him to a multi-year contract?

As a Penn State fan I kind of have mixed feelings about the players we got. On the one hand they are both great prospects but they both almost singlehandedly destroyed Penn State last year for their only 2 losses. So much for getting Derrick Williams...

The draft is not just about 2009, every team has holes. You cannot fill every hole in one offseason.

I wanted Williams- this team is going to need to do something about WR no doubt.

We will have to wait and see if someone gets cut or there is always next years draft. We have a new QB now and if he starts he will have to take if lumps and learn how to read the NFL's defensive schemes. So I am sure we will have a good pick next year. BUT Sanchez will have one full year under his belt. OH BABY.

Brad Smith singlehandedly destroyed my USC Gamecocks in a bowl game, I got over that. Shonn Green destroyed the Gamecocks last year in the same bowl game, so I know what you mean. At least you know he's that good.

Do we have a 2 next year? I know we had to give up a fairly high price to move up for Green.

I think we do and Boldin and Edwards are out there and either could be traded with picks and TJ.

    Shonn Greene profile

Running Back | Junior | Iowa Shonn Greene
    Height: 5-101/2 | Weight: 227 | 40-Time: 4.65

    Official Bio

    Strengths:
Excellent size and bulk...Very physical runner...Powerful with a strong lower body...A load to bring down and breaks a lot of tackles...Patient with good vision and instincts...A terrific inside runner...Has nimble feet...Finishes runs and always falls forward...Gets stronger as the game progresses...Takes care of the ball...Doesn't have a lot of mileage on his tires...Great determination...Team player...Superb production.

    Weaknesses:
Does not have good speed, quickness or a burst...Will struggle to get outside and turn the corner...Won't run away from anyone...Not much of a threat as a receiver out of the backfield...Lacks great balance...A little stiff...Should be a better blocker than he is...Too indecisive...Has had some trouble with his weight and conditioning...Intelligence is an issue...Is older than most prospects...Durability?...A one-year wonder.

    Notes:
Spent a year getting his grades in order at Milford Academy (NY) prep school before joining the Hawkeyes...Saw limited action in a reserve role in 2005 and 2006...Was academically ineligible in 2007 and spent a year unloading trucks at a furniture store for $8 an hour while attending classes at Kirkwood Community College...Was the nation's second leading rusher in 2008 and ran for at least 100 yards in every game...Won the Doak Walker Award as the nation's best running back and earned numerous All-American honors in 2008...Also named 1st Team All-Big Ten and was the conferences Offensive Player of the Year...Missed time with shoulder and knee injuries early in his career and also has a long history of ankle issues...Will be a 24-year-old rookie...Came out of nowhere as a junior and really improved his draft stock...A classic North / South runner but is a little overrated and not quite the pro prospect his press clippings would lead you to believe...A two-down type in the NFL who is similar in some ways to a Tony Hunt.

Great pick! Low center of gravity, powerful runner. Should fit right into our power running game.
