there offense will be complete. Your talking a team thats going to move the ball consistantly on offense (run) and have the ability to score anytime in the passing game(Big play ability everywhere)

Lets me get some facts out there. Was it dumb to take DHB where Raiders did.(You bet) Will Crabtree catch alot alot more balls over his career than DHB( Without a doubt Crabtree a way better reciever) < Smiling> Its not the down syndrome, People are just not looking at this situation correctly. NOw the real question which WR Crabtree or DHB would have a bigger impact on Raider offense. (Without a doubt DHB) WHat????? ( Your an idiot Raiderjeaux-Keep smiling Sundayjack because you soon won't be.

Why am I making such a Raiderjeaux statement. Because its the honest truth. Facts 1.Raiders want to run the ball alot(anyone disagree)
Fact number 2. which WR going to get the safety out of the box. DHB OR Crabtree. Obviously DHB with his sub 4.3 something speed. You have to respect the speed. ( you have to give the CB help deep with the safety. (or it might be six points real fast)
Fact number 3 Dhb dosen't care if he gets the ball, Crabtree would not be happy taking a backseat to Raiders running game. Also DHB a more willing blocker than a Diva Crabtree would be.

Now just look at the possibilities. The possibilities are endless. (will give you just a few) DHB can run reverses(can fake the handoff) You freeze the safeties where Zach miller(Probowl TE now that Gonzalez is gone) and Jared Cook(posible thiurd pick) can get behind the LBs. D MCfadden also can get behind the LBs. Raiders fake the handoff to Mcfadden(You know safeties are coming up) OH No you just left your CB one on one with DHB(good Bye Revis). Tes again can do their damage in the middle. Basically all DHB has to do is to stretch the field. Open up the middle for their stud TE Zach Miller and D mcfadden who will be a bigtime recieving threat. Get those safeties out of the box.

So in closing laugh now NFL fans, you soon won't be.

BTW Remember I once made the prediction Raiders would win a superbowl befgorew the Jets. This reality is alot closer to coming to happening now. Thanks AL Davis.

You say Crabtree is a better receiver, and that the Raiders picked Bey too early. Yet it is a good move? Great post.

But then again, every Raider pick is gold.

BTW, who is this Mitchell kid? Even you can't answer that, other than what you look up on the internet. Speed is great, if the guy can catch the ball and run good routes, both knocks on Bey. Al loves speed, so instead of the better overall reciever, he picks speed.

A Mind is a terrible thing to waste. Learn to read. (explain my reasons) Again when you are looking at an offense , you have to look at how a player fits in what an offense is trying to accomplish. Crabtree without a doubt would be a better fit for 98% of the other teams offenses. hes that much better as a reciever. Not for the Rasiders and how they want to move the ball(on the ground) DHB not Crabtree gets the safetys out of the box. Crabtree like A boldin/ R Moss wants his share of the balls and will cry when he dosen't get it. Raiders want to run the ball and occassionally take a shot deep. All set up by the running game. (that is AL Davis way)
Want to try it another way. Give me your defense and I will show you How Raiders create hugh mismatches in their favor.

Is this for real? Anyway, I have a feeling DHB is going to surprise people. The anti-DHB sentiment was out of control. I'm 90% against DuhMarcus, but at the end of the season he did show some flashes and he prolly has the strongest arm in the history of the league. The Raiders do have a chance of putting it all together. I personally loved the pre-LA move Raiders, I hate them now cuz the criminal element in the city I live in worships them.

No believe it 15 teams knew who this player was(they all worked him out) The bears were probably going to draft him with their pick. You noticed the bears quickly traded down after Raiders made this selection.

Raiders worked out alot of safetys and they felt he would make the biggest impact for there secondary next year than anyone. You have as strong as convictions about that player, you make sure you get that player. Watch the videos on this kid. He looks awesome. The Patriots draft a Olineman from Germany who they also didn't have tape on.( how far was he down on so called experts board) Yet we don't hear how that was a lousy selection. Please. Only time will tell with any draft selection.

So drafting the fastest players every year for the last decade has really panned out well for the Raiders eh?

well just because the bears traded down, doesnt mean they were going to take him. Also both the experts on ESPN and NFLN said he wasnt going before the 5th, and they know at least 3 teams had him as a UDFA on their boards....

dude...that Mitchell pick in the 2nd round.....i figure is responsible for at least 600 Oakland Raider fan homicides this morning. Seeing the smirk on Gruden's face after that pick was announced was priceless......that franchise is doomed.

This is why I love Al Davis on draft weekend.....the most entertaining bastard ever. He's like P.T. Barnum with Downs Syndrome.

    I concur.

It took Jeaux all night to write up a justification for the Raiders draft...priceless.

I haven't seen one person give the Raiders a draft grade higher then an F. I guess none of them understand how to get the Safety out of the box.....:raiders:

Had to figure you would defend such stupid picks. I'd rather have taken Crabtree or even Maclin. Maclin is just as fast, WAY better hands and a better route runner.

Enjoy your top 5 pick next season...should be a good draft....

You know its bad when mel kiper jr can predict what mistakes your going to make.

Mel's got more draft knowledge in that poof of hair than al davis does in his whole body.
