Leach felt the report, from an unnamed source, caused Crabtree to fall to No. 10. "Michael Crabtree has been more successful as a receiver than that guy as a coach at this point," Leach told the Sacramento Bee. "Part of the reason is he's [Crabtree] too shy to be like that. ... "My definition of a diva is someone who's loud and self-absorbed. Michael Crabtree is the furthest thing from loud that I've seen. ... Let's see how all those non-divas do up in Cleveland this year."
I love Mike Leach... I've actually had the pleasure of speaking with him on a few occasions. After talking to him for 5 minutes he invited me to join him skiing in Colorado.... I shit you not. He is definatelty a space cadet and he does what he wants which is alot more than alot of other people in his position do. You should search youtube for Mike Leach's dating advice.... good funny stuff.
i dont care for mike leach as a coach. i respect him doing that though. just because that kid isnt there anymore he is still going to look out for him. what was the difference between 3 and 10 last year? i am willing to be its quite a few million guaranteed. nothing to sneeze at. i would be pissed too.
Bingo... I've seen coaches who don't even know what their starting QB is majoring in yet Leach has taken an active role in his players lives and just because they aren't scoring TD's for the Red Raiders anymore doesn't mean they are out of his life.
