I absolutely loved last season with Brett Favre. Even games we lost were fun to watch. I would never give up seeing him -- one of the greatest QBs ever -- play for the Jets. It was a pleasure!!!

Well said - and for the third straight year the Jets trade away picks to move up, At least we know it was not only Mangini but our stupid GM that has the itchy trigger finger to constantly trade up.

As far as casual fans, you are probably in the majority.

But as far as knowledgeable fans, I think you may be in the minority.

I graded C+. We got good value in the trade, but traded for someone that may not have a direct impact.

I'm no casual fan. I just enjoyed the season tremendously, like I never did before. Again, I wouldn't trade it for a thing... except maybe a Super Bowl win :)

I'd trade it for our third back and a better grasp of the QB situation going into this draft.

I think the trade was a great value, and I have confidence in Sanchez after watching him. This is the best I've felt since the Jets came home with Mangold and Ferguson.

A+. Sanchez is my top QB in the draft and is up in my top 3 overall. I really think that he's going to be the guy to take us to the next level.

I really grew to love Sanchez and I'm proud he's on the Jets. I just think we gave up a LITTLE too much for him to give our first round draft grade an A or A+. I'm still thrilled. If he ends up a bust, then it's back to Kellen Clemens and you never know with him. He still could end up being good. This should be interesting.

Moving up from 17 to 5 was a steal. I was hoping we'd take a different approach, but now that I've rationalized it I'm pretty psyched. I think Sanchez/Clemens/Ainge is an exceptional QB lineup.

B+. The move up to get him was reasonable... far more reasonable than I had anticipated.

I've been a fan of Clemens of late, however, and wanted him to get the best shot at the position behind our totally revamped O-line and the offensive talent we've got. I wanted him to have a fair shot at this and now all the attention will be with Sanchez. I undertand this, this is football, and I'm still okay with the pick because I think the move was reasonable.

Had we traded more, I'd be pissed, but put me in Tannenbaum's shoes today and I probably would have made this trade. This could be the one we've needed for a long time now, so it's a good move for the organization at a reasonable price.

In a draft where two teams have traded their 2010 1st round pick for a 2nd round pick this year? Our trade was excellent.

I'm hoping Sanchez turns out to be excellent too! Clemens will get to start this season though. I don't expect there to be an open competition like Sanchez thinks.

No doubt, Mangini wasn't going to make that deal without him.

Mark Sanchez was the star of the draft. Every time you turned on ESPN, he was all they could talk about. He was the talk of so many nationwide news stories. And he was on many teams' radar screens.

Where do you come off calling him a D-? As Spock would say, you are being highly illogical.
