    Let's hope the kid does well. Does this mean they either think we don't need a receiver or we can get one in the 3rd?

    I love how poeple are already calling this "worst in franchise"...Seriously? Kyle Brady over Sapp...We gave up back ups amd a second rounder for a possible franchise QB.

    If they believe he is the man. That is a great price.

    We can still get value in the later rounds and didnt give up anything in 2010.

    Im sceptical but kinda like it.

    This is the greatest trade up EVER ... 17 to 5 for really only a 2nd round pick ...

    It is basically 2 bench players, 1 starter and the 2 picks, no idea if Coleman is basically worth a late 2nd rounder although I wasn't thrilled with him to begin with so I think we will be ok.

    Your kidding right? but then again, you're a JILLS fan.

    Ratliff = Non Starter
    Coleman = Non Starter
    Elam = Non Starter

    17th pick for 5th pick = 1 for 1

    We gave up a 2nd round pick, there is NOT a 2nd rounder or pick at 17 worth what Sanchez value is.

    The Browns got taken and even if any of the 3 starts will ANY of them be great players, let alone GOOD players in the NFL?

    I think not.

    I dont understand how people hate this trade. Would you have rather given up David Harris, or picks in next year draft. We traded away 3 guys who wont see the field that much this season anyway.

    Agreed. This trade up was a huge steal. 2 backups, one starter and and a second to go from 17 to 5 is amazing.

    I really didn't want to trade up to draft Sanchez because I thought it would cost WAY too much, but I actually like this trade. We only gave up 1 #1, a middle 2nd rounder, and 3 players who's losses will not even be felt. Now, hopefully Sanchez pans out, but if not, it still won't hurt us that bad.

    It's a steal of a trade. Coleman expendable, Elam was already replaced with Leonhard essentially, and Ratliff... lol. First and 2nd and some fringe players to move up to 5th overall? Sign me up any day.

    When Harpua is on board, you KNOW the Jets got a steal.

    I'm not even completely sold on Sanchez, but it's a brilliant trade. A second-rounder to move up from 17 to 5 for a guy who MAY be a franchise QB equals a steal. Browns fans must be livid.

    The people acting like it was a steal seem to forget that depth was one of our biggest issues going into the draft.

    Now depth is our BIGGEST issue and we have nothing to offer to remedy this. I hope we have a team that can stay healthy and I hope Sanchez doesn't take up the bulk of our remaining salery cap.

    Good Trade for the Jets I just wish we gave them KC instead

    you can't be serious calling this a dumb pick - what did we give up that you're worried about?
