    when was the last time we had a shot at a franchise QB???? How do you pass that up for depth players and a 2nd round pick?

    IMO, great trade

    Marques Douglas replaces Coleman
    Leonhard replaces Elam
    Sanhez replaces Ratliff

    Only gave up an additional 2 to move up and no picks next year.

    GREAT trade and this is from someone who did not want us to trade up.

    Great trade! Huge steal.

    I am a fan of Sanchez and he could very well be a franchise qb. Hopefully, this team is patient enough to allow him to develop.

    thats true i forgot about Douglas, but instead of him being a rotational guy, now he is a full time starter, and we have no depth at all. Dorrel Scott should be our target in the 3rd i believe.

    If the Jets somehow package something together to get a veteran WR or draft in the 2and somehow, I'll be satisfied. I like Sanchez, I'm good.

    And I told you, whoever it was, Mangini would trade with the Jets to get some of his guys.

    I'm just not that high on Sanchez...I think he's too short...he's played 16 games in college...I hope you're right, I hope he is the greatest thing since sliced bread...but I don't believe this hype. He was slated to be a late 1st round pick about 2mos ago...now because he speaks well, and interviews well he's a top 5 pick??? Dunno man...I was high on Ratliff. And taking a year to know a play book speaks volumes...

    only jets fabs could get upset with possibly trading for our next namath and gving away a DE who was average at best, a safety who attracted one tender and a qb who was a ufa!!
