Elam-jag Rtaliff=jag Coleman=jag Okay we gave up our 2nd but we pick a possible franchise QB Gholston can play DE Peopl this is a great move!
Only time will tell if Sanchez will be worth this pick. I have mixed feelings at the moment about the trade. Hopefully Sanchez will be that guy we are looking for to lead the Jets into a new era.
I really have to Agree if you really think about it this trade only cost us a 2nd round Pick !!!!!! Great move
the thing you guys fail to realize is that sanchez is NOT GOOD and will have a HUGE contract which will hamstring this organization for years to come.
Highway robbery. I'm still waiting for the NFL to step in and void the trade. Sanchez for a second...unbelievable!
Get over yourself. You're not a draft guru, but I assumne you ARE a Jets fan, so how about you spare us the Mel Kiper act and support your team with a little friggin optimism for a change.
I am amazed at the negative reaction to a trade that gets us a poss franchise qb for 3 very avergae players 2 of which weren't even starters!!
Absolutely stunned but so excited, this was an AMAZING deal for us, we gave up nothing that interesting except for a 2nd to get a possible franchise QB. of course only time will tell but for now this is just amazing... love it love it love it
Gholston can't play DE. Douglas will. Dorrell scott can still be a pick tomorrow.. he's a natural leader and a great talent
Thats exactly what I was thinking, that Gholston will be moved back to DE so he doesn't have to ever worry about coverage again.
Gholston in my opinion will move to DE under Rex , Tanny is th ebest GM we have had for years. Favre gave us the best chance to win , okay it didn't pan out eventually but it was the right move at the time. Great deal for 1 starter and a second
This is the only question in the deal. Is Sanchez a franchise QB or not? Mostly teams have to spend a top 3 pick to be put in that position. We spent much less than that in the overall scheme of things. I don't know if he is going to boom or bust but I do know that if he booms we're a much better team than we were going into the draft, like on a completely different plane. And I did not want Leinart or Cutler in 2006. I didn't think they were capable of taking a team to a high level of play. Sanchez I think might be.
All I know is that I saw Sanchez absolutely destroy Penn State's deefense in the Rose Bowl and throw four TDs in one half against a defense that was stout all year long. I not looking up his stats in that game but I know it was 31-7 at halftime and that Sanchez only threw about 6 incomplete passes and had those 4 TDs.
