    1. Draft Freeman or Harvin at #17
    2. Trade a #1 for Quinn or Campbell
    3. Trade any 2010 first day picks
    4. Let Boldin go to another team when we could have offered something similar

    1. Draft Harvin at 17
    2. Trade for Jason Campbell
    3. Draft Freeman at 17 just because he's the best QB left

If we pick DHB and Freeman. I'm not as down on either of them as most are here, but I don't see either of them contributing right away.

I wouldn't be excited about a Harvin pick. Where are all the Gillbert bandwagoners who were hoping we'd pick the game with a mid-first round pick? I'm glad that's settled down some.

    My Best Cases:
    Somehow picking Sanchez (unlikely)
    Maclin/Moreno at 17.
Trading down and picking up a receiver later in the first round.

My prayers could be answered by the Raiders.

    From Rotoworld:

    Darrius Heyward-Bey-WR-Player Apr. 24 - 12:13 pm et

The Raiders are "locked in" on Maryland WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, according to the National Football Post.

Heyward-Bey passes Al Davis' speed test, Oakland is desperate for a vertical threat in the passing game, and he's going to be there at No. 7 overall. Ideally the Raiders would trade back a few spots and still land DHB, but Davis may not want to take that risk. Davis also has no history of trading down.

Who didn't see that one coming...Al Davis is such a turd lmao

I guess the parallels to Troy Williamson would be intensified since they would both be #7 overall picks

Every year there's an egregious reach and seems like Heyward-Bey might be that guy

    1. We draft Josh Freeman
    2. We draft Petigrew
    3. Draft Harvin at 17-2nd round....worth it
    4. Draft a linebacker in the 1st
    5. Draft Wells over Moreno
    6. Trade up for a WR not named Maclin or Crabtree or a QB not named Sanchez or Stafford

I would be Ok with this if this was our only option.(Meaning no trade partner and Moreno, and the top 2 recievers are gone.)
    8. Pats trade up and go after Moreno or Maclin.
    9. We take a LB and his name isn't Mauluga.(Peter King has us taking Connor Barwin)

    Well Baker.............it may just happen.

It's not my first choice...but if we stay at 17....I'm certain he's on the Jet's board.

If we didn't just spend a 1st RD Pick on a TE, and even trade up to do so, and even acknowledging that Keller is more of an H-Back than a traditional TE, Pettigrew would have been a excellent pick for the Jets at 17 this year and probably the pick I would be projecting to the Jets ... but as that is the case, I would be shocked if the Jets drafted Pettigrew

Amen on 1, 2, 4. Personally, I don't want Sanchez. He is not Matt Ryan. It's going to take time for him to develop and adjust to the NFL. The guy has had what, 16 career starts, in college? He could also end up being a total bust. If he's mediocre, we already have that or better in Clemens / Ratliff.

We should shore up our WR position. Crabtree / Maclin would make me very happy.

I'll throw up if the draft gets delayed and I have to go through another week of draft hype.
